I bought this scale because I run an online shop and needed something accurate to weigh packages before shipping. Honestly, I was surprised by how well it works for the price. It’s pretty compact but can handle large boxes (up to 65 lbs), and the 0.1 oz precision is great for avoiding mistakes on shipping labels.I like that it comes with a power adapter, so I don’t have to keep buying batteries. The cord is long enough, and the display is easy to read, even when there’s a big box on top. The design is simple and functional—no unnecessary buttons. It also has a “tare” function, which saves time when using empty boxes or padded envelopes.After multiple shipments, I can say the scale hasn’t lost calibration even once. It’s a straightforward but super useful tool if you’re getting into e-commerce or ship a lot of returns.Only thing I’d improve? I wish the power cord was removable or easier to store. But other than that, I totally recommend it.

This is a great scale. I tested it with some known weights, and it's accurate enough for shipping packages for sure. The weight reading is stable, and the weight doesn't wander around. There's a couple of different modes. pounds, pounds and ounces, and kg.I have the 200kg model. that's weigh more than I need. Pun intended. I bought the 200kg one for the size, which is better for larger packages, even if they don't weight a lot.There's some rubber or silicone feet on the bottom, and they appear to work well. The unit is physically stable and does not have a tendency to tip.You can either drop a couple of AAA batteries (not included) in there, or use the male to male USB cord and a standard phone charger (included). The display is big and bright, which is plus for me.Yes, this is a few bucks more than the smaller one. It's also a way better scale for those few dollars. Having this one now, I don't know why I hung on to the older smaller one that I just replaced.Save yourself the 'upgrade later' penalty - just buy this one now.*Also, why aren't bathroom scales this good?

NOT A PAID REVIEW.... WOW—FOR REAL! This has been an incredible time and money saver for me! It's paid for itself in the first couple of items shipped. The value in this is genuine in every detail. It takes A LOT to become an Amazon Basics product, especially in accuracy of quality and last(durability-Low Returns). This Scale and it's features are no-brain power simple and dumbly intuitive to use. After looking at a what seemed like the same or close to this, I went with Amazon Basics, and also due to the sheer amount of weight that this can handle. Then there's the QUALITY of it that not only looks nice, but you can actually feel it. Metal plate - It's sturdy, firm in fitment to the base and clearly well made in inspection and feel. I like the packaging so much that I kept it and store it in the original packaging that functions as a case for safe containment and protective storage. You know when you're looking at something online and it's hard to discern if it's going to meet the description and claims, but you also wonder whether YOU are also going to feel that way. I'm not skeptical as a rule, however, I don't appreciate people hyping things up when they're not worthy. Time suck - This is my first scale that I have ever purchased for doing shipping items and it's exactly what it looks like in the pictures, it's the exact size that it is listed in the description, and again the ability to just plug it in and not need to read a book to learn the functions is such a relief! I sincerely RECOMMEND this scale. The Tilt Stand works nicely and cables are long for each so that if I need to ship something VERY large, that I will have no problem getting it set on the scale and being able to clearly and easily see the large numerical LED Screen from a distance. I did mention that it's It's durable, and stupid simple to use and does what I need it to do over and over again - give me correct weights accurately no matter how I change the orientation of the packages that I have placed on it. Believe me, I really wanted to know so I can get the best rates possible on shipping without having to "round-up," to the next pound, when I can now round-up to the next percentage of an ounce. Already saved me hundreds in over postage/carrier rates. Stop Looking!~ Get on with the next decision at hand and get THIS one!

Works exactly as it should. Tested it with a few calibration weights and it was spot on every time. I tested multiple items, where the weight of the item is unevenly distributed but still completely fits on the scale and then moved it around on the scale multiple times and it always produced the same weight after letting it sit for a few seconds. After I saw some reviews that said it read different on battery power than on wall power I tested mine on both back to back with the same perfect results.

The scale overall is good and gets the job done.The only issue is auto hold. It's a needless feature when you would other leave an item on it. It also makes it hard to also use it for things like resin mixing so it's versaility for applications is limited.
