I nearly didn’t buy this because one reviewer said the brackets fall over easily. That’s completely not true. We’ve set this figure-8 bridge up on plushy carpet for my 5 year old. He’s been playing for days with it and hasn’t had the slightest wiggle or issue with the brackets. You do have to slide the tracks into the slots on the brackets. I guess if you tried to simply rest the tracks on top of the bracket then you could have issue with them falling over. They have a very wide base and easy to assemble. We love it, and I’m so glad I bought this set. THE TRAIN ON THE BOX IS NOT INCLUDED

Working on a new layout and this will be the foundation of the entire setup although I am not using it as a figure 8. Very satisfied.

It was a good purchase. Exactly what I needed to complete my project. My Grandson thought it was great.

The tall pylons are nicely designed and work exceptionally well. There are enough so that one can be used for each junction between track sections. However, there is an inadequate number of short pylons to transition the ramp gradually back to level. I have ended up printing 3D wedges, and using scraps of cardboard and wood. The tall pylons have a swivel mount that allows the base to be flat on the table while supporting a sloping rail bed. The shortest pylon has a fixed mount and its base is not flat on the table.

My husband wanted to use his old trainset around the Xmas tree for 2021 but didn't have much track left, and what he did have was old not fitting well.These were great, easy to use, and much better than the old style track, when you have to tack down.Great for your casual enthusiast.

So I bought the train set to go around our Christmas tree. Now I have purchased more track and turned our living room into a train station. Son loves it, wife not so much.

The set up was what I wanted but I had a problem with the train staying on the track.
