Philips LED E27 Frosted Light Bulbs, 5.5 W (40 W) - Warm White, Pack of 2 [Energy Class F]

Before putting one of these led bulbs in, I thought they might be too bright for the room. But they emit a nice warm glowing luminescence that looks very welcoming. They never dim, blink, heat up or blow out or explode to the touch. Because they also expend a lot less energy than a halogen bulb, they've helped me save on my electric meter card token every fortnight. These Philips brand bulbs are expensive, but worth it in the long run. As their so good, I'm eventually going to replace all of my flat's halogen bulbs with leds.

I've used one bulb of the 2 pack, it lasted about a year and a half indoors in a fairly heavily used table light. I'd estimate it lasted about 7000 hours. The life span is 'up to' a stated amount, not a minimum so don't expect to automatically get such longevity. None the less I find Philips last much longer than most other cheaper LED brands and I'm glad to not get that annoying strobe effect some LED bulbs give. I also can't hear a buzz sound, which is a relief as that issue also plagues some cheaper LED brands.

Installs easy, saves you money.

We were very pleased to receive these lightbulbs for our bew Anglepoise lamp. They are larger than the lamp provided but the same wattage etc. The company lives up to it name, DEPENDABLE, it’s not their fault that I had to Mark it down for not being every-efficient. That fault lies with Anglepoise. Many thanks to this company who have always provided good device.

Excellent bulb. It has a soft but clear light which is perfect in my anglepoise lamp when working at my desk. I note some people complain of a buzzing noise. This is not so; with all Edison screw bulbs you must screw them in firmly or they will all buzz! So when inserted properly they are silent. I had an initial delivery problem but this was sorted very quickly by the seller. Excellent product and excellent service. Many thanks!

It's common sense buying these lightbulbs because even over a short period of time they'll pay themselves back in saving on electricity bills. These are bright, but won't dazzle. They last a great many hours (details on the packet) and are highly energy efficient. Worth buying.
