PERUZZO CAR CYCLE RACK TOW HOOK SIENA 3 STEEL BIKES

I was a bit wary buying this item, as the cost was so much lower than the known competition I was worried about how stable it would be.Having used a Peruzzo roof bar cycle rack before I knew their build quality was OK. As it turned out I needn't have worried, this is a superb rack, even putting it together you could tell it was well manufactured and very stable. I've used it with one Adult and two kids bikes without any problem, absolutely solid during driving. 1 little niggle is that the way the restraining arms work for 2nd and 3rd bikes can be a bit awkward to get them onto the rack due to the frame positions but I've managed with three different size and type of frame.Also worth noting is it is supplied with a European 13 pin plug so you need a 13 pin to 7 pin adapter, but that is stated in the description.The tilt mechanism also works like a dream, pull the handle and it unlocks and tips down, lift it up and it clicks back into place, easy and simple.And the best bit is, its a third of the price of some of the competition.It's a fantastic rack, I'm really pleased with it, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone with a tow bar.

Once built this is so easy to use and put your bikes on, especially if you are used to loading your bikes on a car roof. Tilts perfectly loaded or unloaded to allow access to my Evoque boot. When no bikes are on you can flatten the upright bar so you don't need to tilt for access to boot, very handy for me as I rarely take this off the car. I would recommend to anyone. Quite heavy to install on car but I just leave mine on. A saviour for my car and bikes. Great price for exactly the same units available for far more. My roof system is Thule and I prefer the quality and ease of use of this.

I am delighted with this. It is my first cycle rack, but it Is hard to see what more you might need.I am slightly surprised it is steel rather than aluminium, so it is a little heavy, but it is sturdyBe aware this has the euro connector, so I am having to buy a converter to fit my car, but that's only £5
