Q: I have bought one of threse scales and within a few months it comes up with an error code of pip3 and won't work any ideas anyone

It's P1P3 showing - which means that it's asking you if you mean Profile 1 or Profile 3. What I guess has happened is that you've inadvertently set up two profiles for yourself OR there is someone else using it who simply weighs similar to you and the scale is asking which profile you'd like it to use. You can delete one of the profile if it's a duplicate, or if indeed there are two people using the scale who weigh similar then you can just use the up and down arrows to select which person, on this occasion, you'd like the scale to reference.

Q: Do these scales work with the samsung s health app, does it sync the data to it? Or does it use another app of its own?

these are not wifi scales so do not sync with anything. What you need is the Fitbit aria - though these are much more expensive.

Q: Does this measure BMI along with all the weighing and measuring functions?

The scale will provide you a body fat percentage not a BMI.

Q: Regarding accuracy - which unit of measurement are they accurate to ? i.e. to the nearest gram / kg / ounce / pound ?

It is very accurate measuring weight. I have compared this with other two regular scales and all of them were showing same weight. None of them showing you grams in 3 digits but one so I can only say it is accurate to 100 gram.
