It's a little boat that accelerates intermittently and not constantly.

When I was a child, one of my friends had one of these. I always thought it would be fun to own one, but never did. It is a toy that requires constant adult supervision, as you can easily be burned by the candle, or by steam, if improperly used. It makes a pop-pop sound when it scoots across your bath tub or pool. Originally, these were sometimes called pop-pop steam boats. Simple, but yet fun to watch.

I recently purchased this pop pop boat, expecting the fun and unique experience associated with these toys. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the boat's functionality was a major letdown. When I lit the candle to power it, the boat heated up but failed to produce the characteristic 'pop pop' sound consistently. It managed a weak pop only once every couple of minutes, which was quite underwhelming. Additionally, the candle left unsightly black soot marks all over the metallic surface of the boat.More concerning, however, was the strong, unpleasant chemical odor that emanated when the boat was in use. This was particularly alarming considering I used it indoors, in my bathtub. The intensity of the smell was such that it lingered in my home for hours, causing significant discomfort. This experience raises serious questions about the safety and quality standards of this product, especially considering its origin and the lack of information on its manufacturing processes.Given these issues, I would advise potential buyers to be cautious. This product did not meet my expectations in terms of performance and, more importantly, it raised safety concerns that should not be overlooked.
