This was my first 6" buffer driven clay pad, and it has held up great doing multiple cars and trucks. Just use proper clay lube and pad has very little wear after weeks of use. Gets little sticky when hot but does not leave black streaks or anything when used with clay lube. Works fantastic at removing surface contaminants that simply do not get removed even when buffing with compound. I use it as a pre-buffing step to clean the paint on cars that sit outside a lot and it removes all that built up pollen that washing alone does not remove. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. To use the clay pad, simply attach it to a DA polisher and set the speed to 2-3. Then, apply a generous amount of lubricant to the surface of the car and begin claying. Use light pressure and move the pad in a back-and-forth motion. You can also use it manually, with the attach holder.As you clay, you'll notice that the pad begins to pick up anything that is on the paint glue, tar, etc... Simply rinse the pad with water periodically to remove it. Once you've finished claying the entire car, be sure to give it a thorough wash and rinse and voila ready. Great quality and value product.

Was an old school clay guy but now a convert. Used it with the Nanoskin Nano Schock spray. Took all impurities with little effort on my part.

It works ok but it will not remove contaminants as a real clay bar.

I bought this because I had seen some videos and was tired of clay. I was doing some paint correction and ceramic coating so I used this to prepare the surface. Using a clay lubricant spray it did an incredible job and instead of chunking it like I would used clay I simply rinsed it off for next time. Much easier and efficient over the original clay bar and did an incredible job.
