Works really well
Very easy to fit to angle grinder. I used it hard for polishing with polishing compound on brass and it worked brilliantly. But it did wear quickly with bits of felt fluff flying off. I would still buy it again though.

Godsend! Ten day's polishing in two!
These are a godsend for polishing bits that a bench polisher won't reach. It's possible to mount ordinary buffing wheels on an angle grinder, but because it's the edge that does the polishing, the risk of 'digging-in' is huge, and as someone selling them on eBay said: 'please be careful using these- angle grinders take no prisoners'.But polishing with this wheel is done with the face, not the edge (in a similar way you would use a sanding disc). It's important that only the '3 o'clock' bit of the wheel makes contact (looking down on grinder when is in its grinding position). That said, it polishes happily and safely. Is it possible that the other reviewer wasn't using a polishing compound? It's the compound that does the polishing, and the mop just rubs it on. Using it bare would explain the smell. (I tried using Autosol, my favourite metal polish, but the angle grinder was too fast for it, so I went for a brown compound on the brass I was polishing}.One thing I tweaked was the angle of edge, by running it against a disc sander to produce a more acute edge, to get into corners. (You'll see what I mean if you get one).Providing you remember the 3 o'clock thing, and get a good polishing compound, you'll love it! (Oh, and wear a throw-away overall, you'll get dirty. Really dirty.
