Such a great way to encourage kids to read as well as teach them all about dog language. This is great whether you have dogs in the home or even just to help teach kids about body language of dogs that they don't know. My nephew loves it.

As a professional in the pet care industry with extensive knowledge of dog communication, I was very pleasantly surprised with this book! With how much false and outdated information there is out there about dogs, I was skeptical about buying this without seeing any pages. Lili Chin being the illustrator sealed the deal for me as I am familiar with her work and know it to be rooted in up to date science.I bought this book for children in my life for Xmas. They live with a dog and one of them is a bit fearful of other dogs. I’m hoping this book will help ease their discomfort and educate the whole family a bit more.Lili Chin’s illustrations are adorable and accurate, as to be expected. What I really fell in love with was the rhyming and accurate text! I can’t wait to gift this book!

What a fun book to read and very useful for safely interpreting dog behaviour. Now I know when dogs want to be snuggled and when they want to be left alone. Another great book by Kersten Hamilton
