Great wigs, fitted most children's heads (age 10-11) but a bit snug on those with long thick hair in pony tails. The only problem was the fringe part kept coming loose and was not kept neat by the pins supplied so I would recommend you get extra hair pins as we spent ages redoing the fringes several times during the performance of Willy Wonka, with 12 Oompa Loompas this was hard work!

Everyone loved that fact that I'd come as an oompa loompa to a fancy dress party - however, I did find that the wig came off easily and the the grips that create the oompa loompa curls came out and I couldn't get them back in and have it look the same. It looks the part and does the job - not the best for dancing in though!

I bought two of these and they were GREAT - we went the whole Oompah Loompah hog with orange skin, white eyebrows and white painting overalls from B&Q. The wigs really completed the picture and could be used again.Attached is a photo of us winning our prize for best costume - what better endorsement could you get!

Got this because could not face cleaning out green hairspray after my 10 year old's performance in that well known story at school. The bloke on the packet must have a small head, though the cap is elasticated. I agree with another reviewer's note that the topnotch needs a bit of a helping hand to stand up more like the picture. Good quality, but as it relies on being swept in a particular way, needs care and won't survive being in a dressing-up box. This is probably why it is supplied in a hair net. Anyway, worth every penny to sit smugly with that hair problem sorted.
