Good book, not for Spring beginners
I think there is a misconception on what Spring and Spring Boot is. In order to get the essentials parts of this book you should know something about Spring. I think many people (including myself) started to learn Spring Boot first, instead of getting the basics of Spring and then moving to Spring Boot. In my point of view this is the wrong direction. If you are new to all of this, start with Spring, then move to learn Spring Boot. It's a good book. It's not dense and I could read it in less than 2 weeks. It worth notice it's not a bible of Spring Boot, so don't expect to see all the nitty gritty details about it. Also don't expect a full comprehensive material on Spring Security or Spring Data since they are very complex topics that deserve their own books.I consider it as a good resource to understand the whole picture, like the components available and their basic usage/integration/concept.This should not be the first book neither or will be the last book you will read in your Spring/Spring Boot career.

This book is TRASH..
This is not a beginning or introduction book. All of the instruction in this book are incomplete and are no intuitive. The support videos that are part of this book are fodder and do not offer any real help. The author is horrible. If you enjoy spending hours scouring the web for supporting documentation, purchase this book. It is a complete waste of time and is not worth the money I spent for it.

Not really good for learning Spring Boot
I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what this book is. It is not a structured learning tool for Spring Boot 3. By that, I mean that you won’t/can’t sit down with this book and learn how to write a Spring Boot 3 application and build an understanding of the steps to do so.Rather, this book is more of a discussion of various topics associated with Spring Boot. A better title would be “Topics of Spring Boot 3.0.” And you’d better have a pretty solid grasp on Spring Boot so that you don’t get lost in the topics. If you’re anywhere near the beginning of your Spring Boot journey, I’d look elsewhere.

A refurbished version of an old book
The fact the book is about spring 3 and it starts with MVC and used Maven is a bad omen.Book structure is weird and subjects are not much covered in dept, and it’s a small book. For the price and rating I was expecting a spring masterpiece, would had save money by just reading online manuals. Very disappointed.
