Perfect Replacement
Replacement on a Hitachi RB24 EAP Blower - worked perfectly.I used the primer, new hoses, new gaskets, gas filter, and carb. Fired right up! Took about an hour with no prior experience on this unit.Just remember to keep the metal bracket (U shaped w/ right angles) that's on the very top of the old carb. I reused the original screws in those locations as well.

All worked great but...
This was the second carburetor that I purchased but this one worked great. One fault in the kit is that the spark plug is incorrect. It reaches too far into the cylinder and hits the top of the piston.It would be great if they sent me the correct spark plug. I'll request and we will see.

Gonna keep this 10yo Hitachi going another 10
Very nice kit. Direct replacement for my 10yo carb that was difficult to start. Comes with a nice number of replacement parts and a spark plug (mine fit fine no issues). Be careful with the small screws you have to remove and replace but otherwise took 12 minutes start to finish and started on first pull.

Worked perfect on my Hitachi blower.
Not much for reviews but I put this on my Hitachi RB24EAP and it worked perfect. Swapped out primer bulb and the carb and it fired right up first pull. I used the bracket that holds the throttle cable and the screws for that bracket off of the original carb. All the other stuff was just a bonus for now but I am glad to have it on the shelf nonetheless.

Plugs too long, filters fall apart, carburetor's run poorly.
I have Hitachi and Tanaka RB24EAP blowers, bought new carbs for both units. The Hitachi ran great 1/2 doz times then wouldn't run unless on half choke the Tanaka didn't run at all on the new carb. I wound up rebuilding the original carbs on both units. The spark plugs are too long, you will get piston slap on the electrode, the cage fuel filters fall apart.

There are other products being display that claim that are compatible with the Hitachi RB24AP.I made a mistake ordering one of them and then realize the mistake.One word of advice, save the pulling plate from the old carburetor as well as the main long screws.
