Tetrion Easy On Filler Sack 5kg – High-Performance, Fast-Drying Interior Filler for Smooth, Durable, and Easy-to-Apply Wall & Surface Repairs

Bought to patch up holes and rough surfaces ready for decoration. Easy to mix, goes on well and easy to sand. Can mix to any consistency. Bought this for the separate bags so I do not have to open it all at once. Would recommend.

I use this as a filler for walls. When mixing only use a tiny amount of water as you will usually make more than you need !So creamy and smooth to use. Sands down really well and hides even the smallest imperfection. The smaller packs in the large bag are a bonus for long term storage.

All printed instructions say Add 2 parts Tetrion Easy-On Filler to 1 part water.But in the video on Tetrions UK site, it says use 2.5 filler to 1 part clean water.I found mix using 2 parts (by volume), too runny for filling 5mm deep slots, it just sagged.It needed 3 parts filler to get a stiff enough mix, which then looked similar to mix shown in the video.Odd that their video also advises overfilling, then to smooth with sandpaper once set. While on the pack it says to smooth off with a wet blade.Luckily, I was only mixing a small quantity, as with it taking extra powder, I then ended up with half being wasted.When measuring small quantities, maybe the powder not settling caused under measuring. A sharp tap, does seem to help settle it.

Bought this to fill small (2mm - 10mm) gap above my skirting board as previous home owner was a bit of a cowboy. I could not fault this item at all. 10 500g packs, simple instructions and it does exactly what it’s intended. Ordered whilst in ‘lockdown’ and arrived a day or two early. If you’re planning a bit of diy and don’t want to buy a big bag then this is the stuff you need. If I ever use all ten bags I shall definitely be buying this again

I’ll start this review from the caveat of not being an expert. It’s my first time repairing dry wall.I used this product as both fill and final skim in a couple of stages. I found using less water for the fill stage (thicker mix) and slightly more for the skim stage (runnier mix) was better than the recommended water to be added.The final skim was done after wetting the trowel. Lightly sanded back with an open mesh 220 grit paper.Results are incredibly flat and smooth. In areas I can’t see where the holes/lines even were anymore. There has been no shrinkage and the repairs seems very stable.6 weeks later and after sealing and painting I can’t actually tell exactly where the repairs are without referring to old photos.Initially I thought I’d messed up as the bag was so big, but it’s lots of small bags in one big bag. Now I’ve used it I’m glad to have it around for future repairs and think it’s fantastic value for the quantity.Will buy another bag when this one eventually runs out.

It is difficult to mix and is a bit lumpy. Okay if you want to fill deeper holes or chases. Then finish off with something that leaves a better top coat.

The product in individual 1kg bags which was great as I didn’t intend to use all 5kg at once. Product mixed reasonably well although it took a bit of time to remove all the tiny lumps. It went on well and overall I was pleased with the product
