Quality smooth turning switches.
The switches that came with our lamps were hard to turn and didn't always work right. These Leventons are smooth turning and wonderful.

Just what I needed
I needed an old chandelier fixed right away (we used it over our dining room table). Ordered these and they arrived the next morning, just before the electrician. Worked just fine when they were installed.

Good quality
I ordered this product to replace an the socket in my floor lamp that began to arc. It was a perfect fit and I was able to remove the knob to replace it with the original.Pros:* Fair price* Good quality* Really fast delivery using PrimeCons:* The part of the socket that holds the bulb was slightly deformed, probably in transitOverall, this was a good purchase. My local stores didn't seem to have it in stock and it would have cost me more time and money trying to look for it locally. If I had found it locally, the price of the item would be pretty much the same.Using my Prime account, I ordered on a Sunday and received it on Monday afternoon - can't beat that!I subtracted one star because the socket was shipped in a mailer that allowed the item to be slightly damaged. I was able to fix it easy enough, but if I had picked it up in a local store, I would not have chosen a slightly damaged one.Suggestion to seller: Item needs to be better protected to prevent damage.

Exactly as Described, good quality, this is a perfect replacement
Fit existing lamp socket perfectly on my parent's old living room lamp which has a 3-way bulb. You do not need to look any further if the price is still reasonable. As a one time electrician and someone who has done a lot of electrical work over many years, Leviton has always been a go-to brand for me for quality products.

Not the quality I expected.
I have used many Leviton receptacles and switches in the past and found them to be high quality and well built. When I purchased this 3-way lamp switch I also purchased two DiCUNO units. The Leviton was about twice the price. I expected the Leviton to be higher quality. However, when I went to assemble the lamp, I noticed the Leviton switch middle insulation material was slightly off center. This didn't affect the insulation factors but did make the switch harder to assemble in the lamp switch housing. The DiCUNO units were perfectly aligned. I don't know which switch will last longer as I just installed them. I also don't know if the unit I received from Leviton was a one-off example or typical of their production.
