Good solid functional lap steel
Sounds like it should. Just the one pickup - with a volume and tone - both of which are fairly responsive. My only gripes are that there is no facility to screw in legs, should you wish to play it standing up - and the machine heads could be better. They are easily replaced should you so wish. The internet has plenty of instructional videos to get you started - and advice on tunings and strings. All in all, I'm very pleased with it and am getting some great sounds. Good value for money. You can get them cheaper, but I wouldn't risk it.

Damaged
The first one i ordered arrived damaged, sent back with no problems and reordered. The second one has also arrived damaged!!!

Not good quality,
Came damaged - looked like it was used! Not happy with it, go for something a little more expensive and higher quality!
