This shower head was bought to directly replace an old heavy expensive Trevi shower head.The Idea Standard unit is much lighter, plasticity with 3 modes of shower and fitted fine to the extension hose. Showering is fine, perhaps not as powerful as previous but does the job. Durability & quality will come with time, only had it a week.To get more of a power shower affect, I removed an inner black rubber ring from the connecting pipe end with tweezers (relatively easy) and now it goes like a rocket! Has transformed the performance of the shower and serves us better but the rubber ring can be placed back should you need to do so.Currently happy...

Very nice shower head, the shower holes are quite large so it gives a nice soft but heavy spray. Remove the water suppressor however as it is too strong, we have a 2.6 bar pump and even with that the shower was far too weak - we added our own suppressor which still saves water but gives a really nice shower.

Works fine, giving a good flow at 6 lpm with the governer in place.

When it works it's good. Quality isn't as you'd expect for price. The button to change between speeds/modes is very glitchy and plastic. We live in a brand new build, finished with Ideal Standard hardware. Within the first year the the button on shower head started getting stuck, so water speed was stuck in between 2 modes, and effectively a dribble/trickle. I purchased the exact same shower head to replace it. It worked perfectly for 8 months and now the same thing has happened. Only 2 of us use the shower and usually on the same mode, so don't press the bitton over and over. It feels very cheap and feeble when looking at the button closely after it breaks. Very disappointing.

Not as advertised. It claims it is made of chrome metal. It isn’t. It is plastic with a fake chrome finish.As for functionality you will need to remove the valve at the connection point that restricts water flow or it seriously restricts water flow to a drizzle.

Easy to install and works well. It comes with a filter-like insert which acts as a water flow restrictor. So far it has not diminished the effectiveness of the shower while saving both water and the gas to heat it. If you would prefer a 'fuller flow' then remove the flow restrictor.
