I brought this to a percussion group and the others were so envious!

Worth it! But it could use a better stick, the one it came with didn’t give it the proper sound. Do better.

I recently joined a drum circle and wanted to use different percussive instruments. The sound is great, different with each stick provided. Clear and resounding sound that it makes. just a sidenote, I also have an oversized soup can with the label removed that makes interesting sounds with the wooden drumstick being dragged across the grooves. I will be using the soup can at the drum circle soon -much less expensive than this purchase!

The media could not be loaded. I wanted an instrument that is:1. Easy to use, not difficult to learn how to play2. Can be used as a sensory release3. Can be used for mindfulness/ meditation/ calmingThis guiro sounds so fun and has two sides so that each side sounds different and has two different tones. It is versatile as you can play it different ways.I love the appearance of this instrument, it is a bright yellow and a decently large size. As far as performance, it sounds unique and not bothersome. It sounds pleasant.The guiro itself is made from what seems to be a hard plastic type material. Therefore, it seems pretty durable and like it should last quite a while without having anything be wrong with it.

Paid for next day delivery and got it 3 days later. Kind of rude of you ask me. Only got a “sorry”. How about not offer next day if you can’t deliver.Guido works just fine though. No issues there.

IT'S LARGE BUT HAS A GREAT SOUND.
