Across the years we have had a few of these door curtains but this one far surpasses anything we’ve had so far. It’s far more robust and a far better design and is doing the job brilliantly. It’s a good long curtain which is a change for us as it fits the whole door. Our previous one came a foot short and those pesky flys seemed to work out they could get underneath it. It was a dream to fit. You get Velcro strips that fit the full length of the sides and top sticking it ideally to your door frame. However in our case this isn’t possible so I’ve actually stuck them to the wall and it’s really fixed well. You also get some pins for added stability which I haven’t had to use. In the past we’ve actually had to fit batons but these were not needed.I would recommend that you fit the door curtain after a period of dry weather if it’s going to be outside. The middle of the curtain ( the opening) has magnets enclosed within a bound strip. The magnets are plentiful and are longer at the top than the bottom. This has the effect of pulling the curtain shut behind you. The curtain itself is netting however it’s well made and feels like it’s really going to last. I like the fact that it’s black so won’t show any marks. Last night we had strong winds and rain and the curtain didn’t move and looks as good as new. Finally my dog (he is a small chap) has absolutely no problems getting outside through the door. Within minutes he’d worked out that he just needed to walk through it and it opens. I think for its quality and durability this is fantastic value for money and I’m seriously considering ordering another to keep as a spare for when this eventually needs replacing. I definitely recommend this curtain.

As an owner of a large dog who loves putting his claws through door nets I have purchased these things on many occasion! However this one is my favourite. Lots of them only have small magnets at big intervals down the net whereas these have longer sections of magnet with only small spaces between for a more firm hold. They always clip back together behind us and the dog well too. Having ordered the large and smaller sizes I ended up settling on the smaller one for our door as it means there's no excess material anywhere and it fits perfectly. (Exact fit better than getting oversize) The tape to stick it up is super strong and it has never started to fall or peel off. We don't use the included pins for extra security as our frame is plastic but I did use them for my Nan's wooden frame (bought her one too because they're great) and they were very handy just to keep everything extra tight. Pretty great price too, you can buy cheapy ones in the shops but you'll probably be replacing them far more often than just buying one of these. Looking forward to another summer of no flies and bugs while my dog can free roam as he pleases!

I've had various screens over the years of all different sorts but main thing I found was the difficulty setting them up, granted I'm not very practical but some were the stuff of a nervous breakdown. Hallelujah this was simple, straightforward and easy to put together. It's only been up about 2 weeks but so far so good. My cat also has no problem with. So, so far highly recommended.

This thing is great, it's my favourite purchase of 2024 - it allows me to stop fretting about home incursions from flies, wasps and dreaded daddylonglegs while the door stays open as long as needed.As the door opens inwards I had to attach the screen to the outside frame; after 2 months the magnets still meet perfectly and rain doesn't seem to have affected it at all. Had some builders pull it off its velcro at one point but it went back up fine like nothing had happened - happy days
