Healthy plants!
After reading reviews from various duckweed vendors, I was nervous about the health of the plants I might receive. This vendor was quite a bit more expensive than any others, but the video describing how they package their plants was very informative and I know you get what you pay for so I opted to pay $20 rather than $10.Glad to say that the plants arrived just as the video described and they were healthy, even after briefly sitting in a hot mailbox. I would definitely purchase from this vendor again!

Thanks for the duckweed!
The seller promptly sent the duckweed, and it arrived after 2 days at a USPS facility just one hour from where I live. But then USPS decided to send it on a 1000 mile trip to see the USA which delayed delivery by 3-4 days. Fortunately the plants all survived and are doing fine. The seller was aware of the USPS problem and offered a refund if the plants were damaged or dead, but they were OK!

DO NOT BUY
When I ordered this it came with two worm parasites and tones of micro creatures that swim around. The parasites only became visible after two water changes because they hide themselves among the roots

Good Place to Start
you will get a plastic bag about the size of a fist containing water and duckweed. I had no problem establishing my own feeder colony using this as a starter

All good
Plants survived shipping quite well during a moderate below freezing time and despite USPS delay in delivery. Tried to count to make sure I received all 1200 but got to 10 and they kept moving around, so I gave up but I'm pretty sure there are more than 1200 in the lot. It's been a couple of weeks since they arrived and they are multiplying already, so the koi will be happy once they come out of hibernation.

Snails!
If you're not looking for random snails in your tank, open carefully. And they weren't even small snails, one was about an inch wide.

Fresh fish food?
Great little snack for my fish. Put plants into pond around 1:30 and by 3 they were all but gone. Guess I should have waited until a little later in the season to put them out. Oh well, fish are happy...lol
