Very well made, catches fish.

The simplicity of design with all Inline Spinner lures is their greatest strength. I've used every major brand there is and collected a number of odd-ball and no-name brands that use this design and every one of them works excellently at catching fish. However, a good design can be compromised by the quality of the building materials. The hooks on these are very sharp and that's reassuring. Unfortunately for me, the hooks are also fairly weak under the stress of snags and being banged up against rocks or other hard debris. I noticed that these lures' hooks become dull under the rigors of fishing in stoney waters or gravel-bottomed lakes and streams. I still like these lures quite a bit. They are certainly worth the effort in places where smaller game fish are present. I think Bass and Trout anglers will be delighted with these and I know they catch an assortment of fish species. Be sure to take good care of these and perhaps invest in a hook sharpening file.

This spinner set represents a great value. They are similar to the famous French Mepps spinner baits, but not quite as refined in terms of fit and finish. That said, the price of this set comes in at a small fraction of the benchmark Mepps lures. For those on a limited budget, this set is a great and affordable way of enhancing your tackle repertoire. It would have been nice if some of the spinners in this set had hair dressed treble hooks, but it is what it is.

This set of 10 trout spinners is an amazing value for only $8. There are five spinners with painted blades, smaller hooks and .18oz weight, and five that have larger hooks with prism colored and red dot painted blades and weigh .26oz. They seem well balanced with a brass weighted center and the hooks feel very sharp. I will probably tie some bucktail, feathers and flash on some of the hooks but they will work fine as they are. These spinners have the same design as more expensive Mepps spinners and should not only catch trout but also other fresh water gamefish. They come in a nice compact plastic case but I wish they would have put the barcode and product stickers on the bottom instead of the top lid which are going to be hard to remove (see included pic). Overall this is an amazing value for 10 spinners and I highly recommend this product to all other anglers out there.

The fish don't typically care, but I do. I tried these as a cheaper value than the original Rooster Tails...never again.
