these are not good for candle making.they do not hold 16 fl. oz they hold 10-12 maxthe wood is cheap and tho I like that they are light for shipping out, they are flimsy looking.also when I poured water in them to check volume max, the water spread into the wood in a way that does not imply that they would be safe for filling with wax. i'm even concerned that they might not burn properly when triple or quad wicked. not good. returning and going back to my original supplier rancho adobo on etsy. a tiny bit more expensive for the 15 count but the quality is worth it to me and my customers

I used them to make decorative candles for Mother’s Day. They worked really well. But packaging wasn’t the best. Some came damaged, with scratches that detracted from its aesthetic beauty.

The first order arrived and several were broke or chipped due to the way they were just tossed in a box. I contacted Amazon and they told me to throw out the broken ones and they would ship a new set. The new set was packaged better. If you are looking for a large dough bowl this is not it. However, it was the perfect size for what I needed to make 15 Christmas snack gifts.
