Great product
This product works great, if you use it correctly. Unfortunately the rat that was trapped was extremely larger so we had to finish the job, but I don’t think it was due to product error. Also, learned a trick- wrap cotton around the trigger, then lather in peanut butter. The rodent will try to remove the cotton and therefore set off the trap.

NOT OUTDOOR WEATHER TRAP
While these traps indeed work well…..they are not manufactured for outdoor use. Lasted less than three weeks and literally fell apart after a light Florida rain. The metal rusted and the wood is no heavier than balsam like wood. They should never have been advertised as “outdoor” traps. Palm tree rats are common in Florida, and these were purchased for outdoor preventive measures. Surely another trap is made better for outdoor use. Cannot recommend even though price is cheap.

Works great!
Worked like a charm! They kept stealing the bait on my mouse traps. Not these!!! I almost took a finger off trying to set them… but they did the trick!
