Functions exactly the same as the original Bose cable
Another reviewer gave a low score because the microphone doesn't work with this cable. Please note that the QC 700 microphone array doesn't work with ANY cable, including the original Bose cable. The audio cable can be used only for listening.This one seems somewhat thinner and lighter in weight than the original, and it probably won't take well to abuse (being yanked or sharply bent), but that's true of any cable. I'm completely satisfied with the audio performance of this cable, and I'm happy to have it. Recommended.
