Easy to use
These are a great alternative to the standard pods. It does take some extra effort to pack them and clean them after but they work well. We prefer to buy local coffee beans and use them with these

If you are content with smaller amounts of espresso or lungo, this is probably the way to go ...
I originally tried containers that were completely reusable, with a top and bottom that were sealed by gaskets (not these, but made by the same manufacturer). That just didn't work out. Even the seller recommended that I try these other containers with ADHESIVE covers, instead of trying to make the other one work. And, I have to say, these do indeed work better. But, you will have to keep buying the covers, and it's a bit fiddly to get them applied exactly right. You can't do it in a hurry, in other words. Basically, I found that if I grind a dark roast coffee very finely, and very lightly tamp it into the steel bottom container up to the rim, and then firmly apply the adhesive cover, it will work. DO NOT tightly tamp the coffee, or you will make your machine work much harder than it was designed to do, and possibly, ruin it! With my Nespresso Essenza Mini I found that if I grind finely, tamp lightly, and fully fill the container, I can get coffee that is close to what a manufactured capsule provides. HOWEVER (yes, there is a very important 'however'), you can't get quite as much coffee into this container as you can in a manufactured capsule. So ... when you start to see water coming out of the spout, shut off your espresso maker, and you will get the strength you are used to tasting. Otherwise the result is watery, and nobody wants to drink that. In the end, I decided I didn't want to work that hard for so little coffee. After all, the most you can get is a lungo out of a capsule (3.5 oz?). And since you have to shut it down early with reusable capsules, that cuts down the amount even more. So I probably won't end up using these, either. I will give away my machine, and go with reusable capsules and a Nespresso Vertuo machine. That has much bigger capsules, and makes a larger cup of coffee, if that's what you want. I decided, I do. :)

Was excited...not anymore
Was very excited to try these as they seemed perfect for my needs. Unfortunately, my excitement has crashed after the first use. These pods produce a trickle of liquid from the machine if any at all. Had to use 4 pods in order to make half a cup of espresso.Don't waste your time or money, just buy actual pods.

Use these to get exactly the coffee you want from Nespresso machines
I was skeptical. How easy are these to clean? Is the coffee any better? How does one handle the hot capsules that come out of the coffee machine? All solved. The little foil lids are discarded after each use and a new one applied. There is a little tab on the lid that makes them easy to get off and helps make them easy to apply. After brewing, fish the containers out of the eject box, peel off the top to discard, rinse the rest, and you are ready for more coffee. The coffee is better. I know all the brands try to present all sorts of options, but if you like the coffee from your local coffee shop or store, then whatcha gonna do? You put your favorite coffee in the pods and brew. Done. For my taste, I fill the little pod, then dust off the edge before I apply the foil tops. If you want milder coffee, fill less, and if you want more, pack it in. Now you have exactly the coffee you like in your Nespresso machine. If you pull the used capsules out of the ejection box right after brewing, they are hot from the brewing. First, handle by the edge (rim) as it cools quickest, but then use the included silicone finger grippers to hold the capsule. No worries - the gripper is a custom-made hot pad to protect you. Hold the capsule with them while you peel off the top (using that little tab I mentioned earlier), knock out the used grounds into your compost collector, rince and reuse. That is it.Espresso vs. lungo. I cannot say much as I always use the espresso setting. I presume you put in more fresh coffee grounds to make a lungo capsule.

Easy to use, sturdy, money-saving.
Having decided to try out different types of coffee machines for my home use, especially any that use a pod/capsule delivery system is working out great. I now have my special "Coffee Bar" area that's enjoyable to use, and fun to try out different varieties and flavors of coffees, and some teas. After a while, price comes into play, and I do have the permanent holders for the other machines, but not for the smaller original Nespresso type. This morning, made 2 cups of coffee using these LIHONG Reusable Capsules. Took a chance ordering, as my Mixpresso machine was not listed but looked compatible. IT IS! Also I sacrificed 2 of my store-bought filled capsules to pour the contents into these new reusables so I could see the fine grind before using. Well, all was a genuine pleasure! Easy to use, made great cups of my preferred Lungo size coffee. Everything in the box was just as advertised,....except the red silicone Finger cot or whatever it is - no instructions on how to use, or it's use when preparing the coffee.Instructions do not address its presence in the box. Weird little item. The capsules and spoon are sturdy stainless steel, the 100 covers are also strong and simple to place, and there's a couple more rubber rings when needed for a secure placement in the machine. All in all, a wonderful item that will help save some money when using these fancy and fun machines. I'm sold!
