NEUMI Atom 4K Lite Ultra-HD Digital Media Player with Motion Sensor and Push Button Trigger Bundle, Plays 4K/UHD Videos from USB Drives and SD Cards, HEVC/H.265, HDMI, Automatic Playback and Looping

Purchased "NEUMI Atom 4K Lite" to use with a Halloween prop. After glancing at the manual, setting this up for a motion-sensor jump-scare prop was straight forward.Configure the "sensor setting" to "trigger play"add the still video as "loop.mp4" to the root of the memory cardadd the "jump scare" video as trigger01.mp4 to the root of the memory cardThe transition from "loop.mp4" to "trigger01.mp4" is seamless. In my case the still video used for "loop.mp4" is part of the jump-scare video in "trigger01.mp4". When the motion trigger takes place there are no signs it started playing a different MP4 file, it's like the video went from "pause" to "play" which is exactly what I needed to have happen for this to work.I tried this with an HDMI adapter to d-sub 15 on an old monitor. I had to change the NEUMI to a resolution that worked with the monitor, but other wise this worked well. Neumi also works with a cheap HDMI LED projector I tested it with.Lastly, I noticed the cable for the motion sensor is short for my purpose. I tried a 3.5mm "extension cord" that's probably 15-20' long. The Motion sensor appears to work well with this.This will simplify the complexity and setup of video-based props significantly!
