Bought has present for grandchildren, not used yet but looks like they will have plenty of fun with it

Ice cream and slime, such a great combination for kids! Easy to play, no batteries needed, my little girl loved it. You take it in turns to use the spinner, and each player needs to get all their sprinkles on. You try not to land on the yucky fly, keep an eye on the ice cream as it 'melts', and finish off by adding the cherry on top.You get a good size tub of slime included, we weren't sure how much needed to go on, so tried it with half and that seemed to work well. The reason for my 4/5 stars is because it's a bit messy (but I suppose all slime is!) and you have to pick out all the toppings from the slime after each play, which gets a bit annoying. My little girl loved playing it though, she'd give it 5 stars, but adults be prepared to be the ones tidying up afterwards!

Ice Cream Meltdown really caught my eye. The subject matter and the frantic messy gameplay was bound to appeal to my daughter. So we picked it up for her birthday.In the box you get a tub of slime, plastic parts that complete the "ice cream cone", various toppings, a game board and game wheel. The rules are pretty simple place the slime atop the ice cream, spin the wheel and add the toppings that correspond with your chosen colour. Once you've added them all, and the cherry on top, you win the game. While this is going on the slime is dripping off the ice cream. If it runs off on your turn you need to return one of your topping. In addition if the spinner lands on the fly you either add it or remove it. The game cannot be won if the fly is on the ice cream. In theory it sounds like great fun, in practice the slime is too runny and you spend most of your time scooping it up. We also found the slime overly sticky and near impossible to get out of the tub. We found that allowing it to dry out a little made it more pliable and less sticky.While there is no doubt fun to be had it is overly messy. So much so it actually impacts the gameplay at times.

The Ice Cream Meltdown is a delightful game. My granddaughter and I had a blast playing together. She's a slime enthusiast, and this game was right up her alley. The challenge of adding treats before the ice cream melts added a fun twist, and we both got a kick out of when we landed on the flies. Ending with a cherry on top? It’s a great way to spend time together, we have lots of fun and laughter playing it.

Easy to follow fun kids game.If your kids love slime, than this is a game for them.You have to add the treats before the ice cream melts.This game has a similar set up to the hot potato games.Everyone takes a turn each and you have to get as many toppings on before the slime pours down on to the surface.Lots of fun here, especially if your kids enjoy messy play.Supervision would probably be needed around smaller kids.Happy with the overall quality of this game.

My 7 and 5 year old very excited yo play this game.It was fun at first however the slime drip too fast, and my children found it quite annoying. Not easy to use.This game is not as good as I’ve hoped.

Lovely game to play for adults and kids, really good family fun.It’s so easy to set up and play, instructions are also fairly easy to follow and explain.The only thing you need to pay a bit attention is it can be quite messy at the end, so be prepared.
