Love it!
I’ve been using this machine for about a month now but I wanted to use all the features and give it some time before I wrote a review. I was a barista for several years and this is my fourth? at-home espresso machine in a few years, and I LOVE it. I genuinely didn’t know you could make espresso with bright crema on top at home until I got this machine. The texture of my lattes is smoother and creamier, the quality is better, and it’s so easy to use.I’ll start with the cons because I only have a few:•the steaming wand doesn’t move as much as others I’ve used and if I have a full pitcher of milk I either have to life the machine or spill the milk to remove it once it’s steamed. It also occasionally takes a bit of time to get going.. initially it seemed like it was getting slower over time but it seems more sporadic now.•the auto shutoff is way too quick, IMO.PROS:•The water tank and drip tray are both really large and do not have to be refilled or emptied often•very straightforward and easy to use once you figure out your initial preferences•there are several options for grind level, water heat, etc and once you figure out the best one for your coffee it makes really high quality espresso every time•the double shot is larger than most which I really like, but there’s also the single shot option• it’s SO easy and mess-free to grind and tamp the beans•milk frother can get milk really hot, and really smooth•I love the americano option, it makes things so easy• the cold brew is pretty good considering how quickly it can be made

Best espresso machine, best value!
Wow, wow, wow! This is an amazing machine and made the perfect espresso right out of the gate. It is easy to use and honestly, I just got back from Europe where I enjoyed a cappuccino every day and this first cup I made for myself is far better. I have been a French press coffee drinker for years and even though I love a good cup of espresso, was intimidated by the pricey/complicated machines available. This machine couldn’t be easier to use. Love it, truly🤩

keeps my wife and daughters out of the coffee shops
The most important thing is that this has drastically cut down on the amount of $7-$8 purchases that seem to keep showing up on my credit card. The machine makes a fine cup of coffee. We are espresso and cappuccino drinkers and this machine ably makes both. Bravo

Can't use or Dark roast or it will break the grinder and grinder can't be cleaned on your own
I have a unit less than 1 year old. Grinder stopped working.I called delonghi and the first thing they asked me was if I used medium road or dark roast.I told them we have medium roast beans. I asked out of curiosity why they would ask that and if that would make any difference.I was told by the manufacturer that dark roast are greasier and it causes grinder to jam more frequently. My machine still jammed with medium roast and this is apprantely a common issue with their machine. Before calling the manufacturer, I thought I could take the grinder a part like any other all-in-one espresso machines at this price range to clear the grinder jam.You CANT with this one. I confirmed with the manufacturer that this unit doesn't allow you to clean the grinder on your own but must be sent-in if it gets jammed. If the grinder jam is a common issue and if you can't maintenance on your own; then this machine is a scam.Luckily, the grinder jam is covered by their 2 year warranty but once you run out of warranty, you have to pay $250 to have them clean the grinder.FYI, I only use this at home and make 3~4 espresso or latte in a week so if you drink everyday, the grinder jam can happen in about 6 months

The BEST
This is my favorite item in my house 🥹 Although it comes with maybe a few extra pieces compared Deville I still love!!If you need a espresso bean option, I highly recommend the Bustello brand 🔥

This machine is durable and easy to use
Bought this for my husband, he so enjoys how easy it is to use and the quality. Noise level is low, never leaks and the coffee tastes great hot or cold brew.

Fantastic
I love this machine. I’m a novice coffee connoisseur, and the best at-home coffee/espresso I’ve had has been with this machine. Easy to use and very adjustable. I love everything about it. Haven’t used the iced coffee setting, but all other options are great. Noise isn’t much of an issue, but it does make noise. Everything out of it tastes great (as long as the beans themselves don’t suck).

Great tasting espresso and cafe Americano, but a bit messy with grinding
I really like my DeLongi espresso machine! It makes a tasty espresso and Americano coffee. I have not used the cold brew feature yet, but I will in the warmer weather. The reason I am not giving this machine five stars, is the coffee grinds that get everywhere. A tamping piece is provided. But when you remove the guard afte tamping the grounds into the brew part, a fine dust of coffee grounds falls on the counter. When storing the tamping piece and guard on top of your machine, more grounds fall onto the top of the machine. While this is not a deal killer, it is messy.
