Great with Texas hard water!
Very nice kit that is easy to setup and use. It’s lightweight (without water in the filter) and small enough to carry around without struggling. I wish it did come with one more set of quick connect to another hose to my power washer. Where I live in Texas has hard water and this helped reduce the hard water marks on my car from the heat/sun drying the water before I get to wipe off the water. Good price point for something that works well and can be refilled when needed.

Not just a car wash solution!
I purchased the Spotbye system primarily to make washing our SUV’s easier. My wife actually enjoys joining me with this task. The first time we used the deionized water to rinse our SUV, she was amazed that we weren’t going to dry it off. The end result was truly amazing.I suggested that we try to wash our many house windows (a task she’s not real wild about!). Using just a bucket of warm soapy water, a soft bristle brush attached to a pole and the deionized water. The result is unreal. Clean, shiny and most importantly, spotless. The entire house in under 2 hours. No squeegee, no drying towels and no ladder.

Doesn’t come with everything to set up you need to buy a separate fitting.
The product is good for the price but you need to add a thread hose adapter 1/2 in to 3/4 in order for the out part work. That should be part of the kit but doesn’t come with it. Other than that pretty solid product. On the picture I put the brass fitting that I bought.

Just Fine for Washing Your Car
This is a very economical spotless rinse solution. I bought some quick-connect fittings, hoses, a flow restrictor, and a garden hose attachment as well as a TDS meter, put it all together and tested it. Can't remember exactly what the results were but I was sufficiently impressed with the performance. It's not the finest quality product (the fittings and handle don't feel amazing), but at this price point it doesn't have to be. I was able to use this without issues on my first try and I don't feel the need to upgrade.I honestly haven't used this for a while as I've started doing rinseless washes and towel-drying, but if I ever want to break out the pressure washer again I'll be following up with this for sure.

Promising solution with potential
The Good…0ppm from my city water which is around 250ppm. It immediately came down to 0 even before flushing the system. The Bad…..Leaking fittings…. Both the inlet and outlet fittings to the head are leaking. The head is made of plastic and i suspect the thread is too loose. The system came with a big roll of PTFE tape, very thick consistency. Its even hard to tear apart. Seems the manufacturer knows about this leaking issues. Also, the fitting on the inlet is to big and will scrape and hit the plastic fitting before being able to thread all the way in. I managed to reduce the leaking by using more than normal tape.It comes with a water tester (the white one). It comes without batteries and acts very weird, sometimes you can’t turn off.Potentials….Better fittings overall, it comes with copper fittings, which is no problem, but don’t last, i been changing all my fittings to SS, well worth investment if you will be using the system often. Will be great to have a bypass, to easy switch between DI water and tap water. Currently i switch hoses, also no big deal, but would be a nice upgrade.Better handle, seems just cheap and installation is not fixed.A funnel to fill the tank. Although the opening of the tank is a bit wide, its very easy to spill the media.I have no doubt it will work and provide a spotless rinse, only time will tell how long will the media last.

Ugh
Instructions were practically non existent. Three holes for water egress. No instruction on which accessories to use where. I returned it to but the smaller two hole version with good instructional videos.

So far so good
Like another reviewer, I bought this based off Car with Keav YouTube review. I spent a few minutes to cycle the water. I used a 5 gallon bucket to gauge how much water it took to get the filter ready. It took about 8 gallons to get the water to 0. Used for a final rinse on a 90° day at noon to make a worst case scenario and it worked great. As you can see on the hood, everything dried flawlessly. There were so minor residual leftover but I believe that was some soap left behind. Windows wipe clean and I only ended up using 1 towel to clean up some of the excessive water in areas just to speed up drying.Overall this will cut down a lot of drying time and I expect it to get even easier after a polish and ceramic coat. An absolute value as this costs half the price of name brand DI filters. Time will tell.*UPDATE*2 weeks into owning this and I've used it as a rinse only twice so far. I use at most 10 gallons per rinse. Including my initial 10 gallon flush puts me at 30 gallons used so far. Started a 3rd rinse and noticed my ppm slowly climbing. So I've spent the next 10 gallons flushing only to find my ppm slowly climbing. It spikes when I turn the pressure up more. I even ordered a more reputable pricier tds tester which read pretty close to the tds meter provided. So all in all even if I round up on my gallons used to 50, I should still be reading 0 ppm. Totally bummed because this was a great price and absolutely perfect for size and functionality for what I needed it for. Unfortunately they don't offer a replacement. I have to return it and look for another.

I like it!
Just the tight size. The bypass is a great feature. Great price. The only thing I don't like is that it came with a strap for carrying and not the solid metal one as seen in description, oh and there was no battery in the water tester!
