This toy gelsoft gun arrives in a branded well packaged box and includes everything pictured but also has about 20 ready hydrated balls in a sealed bag to fire straight away, a smaller bag of a few hundred? And the advertised 10,000 balls which I think are firmer (as per official GelSoft website).If you are looking to use it immediately as a gift: It arrives with charge in the battery but unless you have gel balls already hydrated you'll only be able to fire the 20 ready hydrated ones until the extras engorge...they do seem to take shape in 1-2 hours but the advice is 4hrs+ for optimal shape and reliability, or even overnight. Maybe expect misfires or poor accuracy if you don't soak them enough.The gun itself is great fun, the automatic fire (hold trigger depressed) is around 3 per second, it makes a modest noise but nothing intrusive (not silent though). The gun is quite powerful and the balls fire at speed, straight and true. The semi automatic mode is easy to use with a quick trigger pull, I've noticed no accidental double fires.Be aware the top "sight" is a hopper for the gel balls NOT an aiming sight (I knew this before purchase), but you could easily attach a £1 laser pointer underneath the gun or onto the side of the hopper for some aiming guidance. It adds to the skill to shoot without sights anyway ;-). On the next model up (Dessert Eagle copy) the gun comes with a laser mounted underneath the barrel if it's something you want, it's around £10 dearer.This is great for a bit of fun, highly recommended!!!
