Great bits soo far
So far the bits seem to stay in great condition. I mainly use 5 and 6mm bits and have to say that a standard bit would have started to dull by now whereas this is still going strong. My only issue is with the dispenser holes in the top where bits easily fall out.

What on earth does "thickness" and "sheerness" mean in the context of ratings Amazon?They are more expensive than many others but I noticed the difference immediately.Do a great job drilling metals.

Dormer Qualty
Now Dormer is a name I remember from the 60's These are made in Brazil and seem pretty good so far.They are even supplied in the same very handy dispenser that my old set had.But are thay as good as the Sheffield made drills that I remember so well?I will let you know if I have any problems.

You'll never use cheap bits again
The difference between the cheaper larger bits (5mm and up) and these Dormer bits is staggering. Drilling through standard mild steel of a thickness anything greater than 5mm was slow, smoky and chattery, even with copious amounts of cutting fluid.These babies? It's like drilling through cheese in comparison. They're epic.
