Quality Learning Tool for Reading!
As a homeschooling Mom, I love this set! It’s a great learning tool for reading! It’s durable, the card quality to very good. If I need to, I could laminate these. Colorful pictures, words are legible and easy to read and the value is out of this world! My kids have so much fun doing these and ask for time to read with them! I highly recommend!

WORDS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CARDS
These are printed two sided. I end up buying two sets for one child. On one side the text and border is grey. I used a highlighter to make a mark on the lower corner to essential keep all the words visible (colored and grey with a highlighted dot). This way I could have all the words available and rubber band them into categories. One pile for 'knows well', one for 'review', and one for 'not yet'. Hard to do on a two-sided card. Often the two words on a single card needed different categories. That said, for the price it is a great deal. Good font, sturdy, easy to read. Just wish they were single-sided.

I bought about four or five different sets of flashcards from three different major stores.This one is the best one first they show you the word and then there is a story in the sentence to support that word beautiful

Teaching Sight Words with Context
I am teaching my granddaughter sight words using these flash cards. As a teacher, I love that the cards are divided into grade levels. Each card has the word on one side and a picture on the other side to use as a clue to help them learn the word. The picture side also uses the word in a short sentence related to the picture. My granddaughter is almost three but we have started a little early with the Pre-K set which is level one. This set could be used with any student struggling to learn their sight words in elementary school. There are 350 cards in the set and it covers Pre-K-3rd Grade.
