On the fence on this one. **UPDATED - STAY AWAY**
AS the headline says, im on the fence on this purchase. The plumbing supply lines it comes with were not great and leaking the due to the plastic to plastic connections. NOT the biggest deal i went and got better lines from the plumbing supply. a few weeks later i had the electrical components burn out with in the 30 day window which was shocking and disappointing. After some back and fourth with the manufacture they sent a new top (ice making part). I am happy they resolved the issue but having the issues with the plumbing pieces and then having the electrical issue with in 30 days has be skeptical. I do hope this works out with the new piece but I'm afraid if it happened with the first one its a matter of time before it happens with the second one.**UPDATE**STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. the second machine they sent me was clearly refurbished. It came and the touch screen didn't work and you could adjust the size of the ice. After it produced 2-3 batches of ice it went into "harvesting mode" and didn't do anything for 60 minutes. It kept going into that mode and does not work. They reimbursed me for the machine which is nice but after they told me it is most likely needs a new mother board they first said they would send me a part but then they said they wouldn't. Then they said they would again, and after a week of nothing they asked for video's of the inner workings and photos of parts i dont know about. I have had a plumber come twice, and electrician come twice and had to buy my own supply lines because the parts this comes with are rubbish, i was not about to have a professional come back out to help me with obtaining more photos and videos for a problem that was already trouble shooted. It turned out I'm happy i didn't because it was all a ploy to just not send me the part. This machine is rubbish, the customer service is inconsistent at best and at worst the lied about sending the part multiple times and sent a refurbished replacement. At this point ive spent $800-1,200 on service tech calls and an entire summer NOT HAVING and ice machine. Stay away, STAY FAR AWAY.

this item is junk!
recieved this in august. wasnt able to hook it up until end of january. lasted days. vevor refuses to help me any. I WOULD NEVER BUY A VEVOR product again! Would rate 0 but wouldnt let me!

This is a really good machine
The water filter is junk but that’s about it. It installs easy. There is nothing that difficult to do here, folks. I had a friend help me lift to top onto the bin and that’s about it. I can’t keep up with the ice. My only thought would be to go with 300lbs instead of 400lbs. Me are a 50 seat capacity bar. Plenty of ice.

Patience is necessary ...
It's a great ice machine once you figure it out! You need to be patient when finding the right ice setting. But once it's set - you're set! A little disappointed that the legs don't adjust height but that is a minor detail. Always have ice and cubes are perfect thickness for the bar.

do not buy.
Do not buy this! Mine failed at least three times and Amazon nor the freezer maker would help me out. I was not able to return. I wasted about four grand because of this this company has very poor review reviews on the BBB. I would give it a -5 stars if I could.

i purchased one of these models in 2019 for my beach house in Cortez Fl. Use 100 -120 lbs on each of our offshore fishing trips. Have had zero issues with it. Due to ridiculous cost of the "new" miniature 7 lb bags of ice at local stores in central Florida, I purchased another one of these machines for our shop in Lakeland Fl. Tied into our existing cold water line at sink and ran dedicated 20 amp receptacle to the panel. Installed myself in 3 hours (including plumbing/electrical). Dropped first batch of ice in about 14 min. went to shop this morning, it was 3/4 full. By noon it was maxed out! Ive seen all the negative reviews, but I now have 2 of them. One is 3 years old, one is 2 days old. They are both cranking out the ice! And im not paying $3.00 bucks for bags the size of a loaf of bread anymore!

Good, but slow, after sale service
Bought this machine instead of spending $5K on a name brand domestic machine. Well, now it's not working after 3 months. The trouble now is the "Vevor customer support" phone number is just a call center on the West Coast somewhere and they simply route your problem overseas. All further correspondence is via email. The trouble with this is they only send or reply to one email every 24 hours. I'm now on my third day without my machine working and they're suggestion is to call a technician and they will cover the cost. I really have no choice but to call but I have no way of knowing if Vevor is actually going to cover the cost. Will update as necessary.7/27/23Well I must say I'm pretty happy with the after sale customer service from Vevor. I had to call out a local technician for a service call ($189) and we figured after closely watching the fans that three of the four were slowing down after a few minutes of run time. This was causing the overheat condition which kicked off the machine before getting through a complete ice-making cycle.Vevor stood by their word and paid for the service call and are in the process of sending new fans. I asked Vevor to give me the specifications for the fans so I could source them myself since it was going to take them 7-10 days to arrive from Vevor's supplier. The fans are very common 120mm x 38mm which I found on Amazon. I replaced the fans myself and all seems to be fine with the machine for the last three days.My only complaint is the speed, or lack thereof, of the warranty process. Since the customer support team is overseas there is only one, maybe two email exchanges per 24 hour period. This obviously slows the entire process greatly.If you are somewhat handy this is an easy fix... hopefully nothing more serious pops up in the future. I paid $60 for four new fans, only because I did not want to wait any longer. Other than that the warranty process cost me nothing but some time.
