Very useful measuring instrument
Provides a relatively quick method of checking air quality (inferred from CO2 level). With appropriate monitoring can be used to estimate air changes per hour. Has proved very useful. Does require external power source but a cheep low capacity power bank solves this. (I do not have the equipment to asses accuracy, however outside air provided the expected answer. It is based on standard sensor so I expect it is reasonable)

Great for visual indication in a home or office
I work from home a lot, and had read about indoor air quality and CO2 levels affecting concentration. I purchased this as it was cheap and had good reviews. It's been really useful in getting a quick idea of when I need to open a window and let some air in; if the light goes orange or red then I know to go and open a window of a bit, and when I can close it again so the room doesn't get cold.It takes about 10 seconds to calibrate when you first plug it in I used one of those magnetic USB cable kits from amazon so I can really easily just take it from one room to another if I want.I also discovered that leaving a window near my bedroom open just a fraction stops the CO2 levels going high while I'm asleep, without making the home cold - it helps give insight into what is going on in your home with air-changing (or lack of).

No more sleepiness and headaches at the home office.
I'm working from home since the beginning of the year, and I live in an apartment with great windows, that seal up everything and allow me to save a lot in heating during the winter. But all that comfort comes with a problem, hight levels of CO2. Don't mistake with CO, the toxic gas from burning fuel that we already have alarms at home. CO2 is just you and your family breathing inside a closed environment and it is not detected by the CO alarm.I start noticing that I was having migraine-like pain in the afternoon, and was getting sleepy even with an espresso machine next to me. After some research, I found that this can be from high levels of CO2.CO2 is only toxic on super high concentrations hard to reach, but, even in lower levels, it creeps our attention and focus. Over 1000ppm, you lose 15% of your cognitive capability. So, that is why I bought this one. It is from a reputable brand; it is small and discreet enough to let it on 24h.The LEDs tell me when to open a window; the red one means explicitly high levels of CO2.To a better working environment, when you need focus, I recommend keeping it in the green LED level.I keep in attached to a 10amp battery bank; it lasts a week in that configuration. But if you have a phone charger lying around, you can leave it connected to it indefinitely.

Helps me to prevent the air quality in my car getting stale - Safer driving!
I use this product to monitor the level of CO2 in my car. I find that the monitor goes into the red within 15 minutes of setting off on a journey, if the windows are shut and the air recirculation switch is set to “recirculate”. Quite revealing! It is known that even relatively small increases in CO2 levels in the air we breathe can affect mental alertness, which in a car could mean that there is an increased risk of an accident happening (if the CO2 levels are allowed to rise unchecked). So I think this device serves a very useful purpose.I also leave one of these devices in each of the flats that I rent out and I encourage the tenants to use the device and to open windows / open trickle vents, should the need arise. Good for their health and well being to do so, and also good for me too as a landlord, because improved air quality in the flats means it is less likely that humidy levels will also rise and so there is a decreased chance of mould forming on walls in winter due to poor ventilation.

Expensive, but well worth the money
Using this device was a real eye opener. We bought it because we couldn't account for the extreme sleepiness whilst sitting in the lounge. We found that the concentration of carbon dioxide was near danger level. We now ventilate the room a lot more, but als colder in the evenings, but now staying awake. A real God send.

It does the job, but does not have an internal battery. Only works by an USB wire.
Good device operation (Co2 and Temp). The display has small digits. I wished that this device operated on internal battery.

Brilliant device
I bought this as a secondary monitoring device to insure my CO2 controller is in calibration. In a growing environment it does this extremely well both temperature and CO2 read incredibly accurately thoroughly recommend
