Works great and easy to install

I live in an area of the country that is super hot in the summer and super cold in the winter. I liked this one because of the double flap- it does a nice job. I thought I would really feel it during the sub zero days but I really didn’t. My contractor said it was an easy install. I just love how convenient it has made my life. It looks nice and if I did feel it leaking cold/hot air, I could always put the two barriers up.

Very durable , simple to install

The door is sturdy and the flaps close with the magnets well. Unfortunately there is a pretty good size gap on the bottom of the flaps that lets in flies and cold air. There isn't any way to adjust the flaps so they hang tighter to the bottom to close that gap.

Review would be better but a little less than a year later with three dogs the flaps have come off and been trying to get them back on with longer screws but no luck

The Doggie Door I purchased from you arrived on Friday Feb. 2, 2024. It was installed on Sat. Feb. 3, 2024 by my son-in-law. (He is a perfectionist! So I know it was done correctly!) Then on Thursday less than a week later Feb. 8, 2024, the outside flap was hanging and was detached from the metal header bar on one side. The screw was still there, however the threads were stripped and would not tighten and hold the top part of the flap on that side. So I had to remove the outside flap, leaving only the inside flap in position and the outside flap open allowing more cold air in the house.In my opinion I question the use of those screws that are so so small. It didn’t even last one week! I am concerned how long the other screws will last too? Even with a one year parts warranty, I am concerned about this area always having a problem or issues! I bought this door thinking it would last a long time and it looked like it would be sturdy enough to do so. I was very relieved when the doggie door was installed as that was on my list to complete. The amount of money I paid ($205. )for this doggie door I certainly expected it to last so much longer and once it was installed not have any other issues! I am definitely regretting my decision to purchase this one!What is your solution to this problem?
