Started out putting dry bread crumbs for the Quail, but kept running out....so, decided to try this Wild Delight mixture of bird food. It's a 10 lb. bag. The mixture is perfect, with lots of seed and some larger seeds, and more. The Quail have noticed the difference and now, really show up for their treat. We also have a lot of Doves hanging around, and now other species are showing up! The best of course are the Quail when they bring their wee ones along - so cute. It's interesting to watch their antics, especially when the Quail want to be the Alpha birds over the other birds that appear when the food is placed on a rubber mat that now holds the seed in one area on our patio. The mat keeps the seed from bouncing all over the concrete. I put out the WD food in the morning, and also in the late afternoon. The birds know my schedule and are waiting! Glad I got this bag of really great bird food!!!

This feed had too many black sunflower seeds. My birds didn’t like it an wasted more than they ate.

During Covid my Nana got into birds. Parakeets, a conure, a quaker (that most of us in the house dislike), a macaw, and then doves. Out of all of them the doves are the most peaceful and I love hearing their coo. Well unfortunately there are zero stores around where I live that sells Dove food. So I went online searching and found this. Every month I get a new bag of it, the doves are happy, Nana is happy, and I get to hear them sing.

I have many families of quails and they enjoy the food very much. Many families.
