Good instructions
The print quality is very good and so are the instructions. The bear is much cuter with the various outfits on - the body itself is not particularly attractive. I'm a pretty experienced sewist and this took me a lot of hours to finish, in about a weekend. You will definitely need 1/4" elastic, stuffing, thread, safety pin. Pinking shears are also recommended. A point turner is also helpful. Sewing the tiny curves and tiny hems requires great care. I really like all the details printed onto the clothing !

Good for beginners
When I was a kid, the fabric store used to sell material with a design that you could cut out and sew into a pillow. This is similar and a good start for beginning sewers.

Children Will Love It!
Exactly what I wanted! Cheaper than purchasing from Etsy, especially if you are an Amazon Prime member. Great value for the money. I love that it can be hand sewn and has its own storage bag that can be made.

Turned out really cute!
The instructions were surprisingly clear. Everything came together nicely....except for the horse head pillow. I still haven't figured out how to do the ears on the horse pillow. But thats ok, the horse and rider and saddle and food and the backpack all turned out great! You do need a little bit of sewing machine skills for this. Especially for the backpack. Some adult help will be needed for kids. But it isnt too difficult if you really just follow the instructions.extra materials needed: some drawstring for the backpack and some polyfill fluff. They also recommend a metal snap closure for securing the saddle around the horse, but we just used a safety pin and it works fine.
