Now that I used the Hotodeal Cervical Neck Pillow for some time I can say I love it. It is so cool (as far as temperature) and soothing. The pillow has a zippered cover that is washable and it is soft. It has no texture so even if you are a side sleeper like I am, I didn't wake up with the texture on my face from sleeping on it. The memory foam inside has a light texture but it does not transfer through the cover. I love the shape so I have a place for my arm and hand while laying on my side.I also had my husband use the pillow who sleeps on his back. He normally uses a pillow that is very hard and is very thick. He didn't care for this pillow because he said it is too soft and too thin although he also loved the feel of the cover on his neck. Even when he placed a regular pillow under it, it was still too soft and thin for him. (His hard pillow was a special order so this really isn't surprising that this would be too soft.)The conclusion I draw is that pillows are like mattresses, people find different ones comfortable for them. I wouldn't recommend this for those who use hard pillows, but for those who use a normal pillow I would.

If you never use another cervical pillow, you may sleep in peaceful bliss. But you should probably use another cervical pillow.Ofc, pillows are completely subjective. This pillow is on the squishy side, kinda like one of those cute animal plushes. It's also on the thinner side. It may be okay to use on top of another pillow if all you're looking for is the form fit of a cervical pillow.I have other cervical pillows that offer better support and filling (in my opinion).For the money, I'd look elsewhere.

This pillow did not work for me. I had to remove it from my bedroom in the middle of the night because the smell bothered me over time. I think this pillow is a bit too firm as well.

I will update as we have more opportunities to sleep on it.We both are wondering about a pillowcase. It does not come with one but we both would prefer a cover. I’ve been using this pillow for about a week now and can confidently say that I like it. It took a little getting used to the odd shape and contours. The main thing I had to get used to is how much firmer this was compared to my worn out old pillow. I’m still adjusting to the difference but I’m sleeping better this week than last. If you sleep on your back, the cutout in the front nicely cradles your neck. I change positions throughout the night sleeping on both sides and my back at different times of the night. I find that I can get comfortable regardless of my position. I haven’t tried sleeping on my stomach so I don’t know how the “grooves” mentioned in the ad work, and I put a regular pillowcase over the pillow so I don’t know what that will do to my ability to make use of the grooves.Sometimes when I’ve received a new memory foam product there has been an unpleasant odor when it’s right out of the packaging. That was not the case with this pillow. I never noticed any odor at all.Overall, I’m pleased with this product. It’s supportive but comfortable and I’m sleeping well. It was way past time for me to replace my worn out old pillow and this one is a good replacement. I’m very happy with this acquisition.

It is time to replace those firm hard cervical neck pillows. This is soft and squishy and nothing like I expected. I have used this for a few nights now, and I love it. This is soft and neck conforming, but still holds its shape. It has space for my arms to side sleep. Most importantly it fully supports the neck even though it is soft. This is the best of both worlds. It is great to wake up without any neck or shoulder pain. My first thought was how to get a pillow case for this. Luckily the case zips right off for easy washing. The case fabric is silky smooth and cool against my skin. This product is working for me.

This pillow is disappointing. It seemed nice and soft, until I slept on it. I was looking for a soft, comfortable pillow. It is cooling, but it is hard/firm. I expected it to be much softer. It's way too firm for me and my neck hurt after sleeping on it one night. I would not recommend this pillow if you are looking for a soft cooling pillow. If you are wanting a firmer cooling pillow, then this would be the pillow for you.

The size is a good size but the contents is not supportive enough for a pillow. It feels more like the same gel foam that mouse pads and keyboard wrist rests are made of. The casing is kind of like a polyester blend that I don’t think is typically used for pillows. I recall the pricing on this but I would not recommend it for anyone with neck pain.
