Great quality fuel pump replacement with lot of miles on it so farr
Had this pump on my 1994 Johnson 120 for awhile, putting a lot of miles on the water with it. So far been operating flawlessly. Thank you.

Junk
After install I was unable to get the engine to run above idle speed. While watching the fuel sight glass after the fuel pump, any time the throttle was advanced past idle air bubbles would become present in the fuel system until the engine died. Removed the pump, installed a new gasket between the pump and engine block and no change in engine performance. Finally reinstalled the old fuel pump and was able to purge air from the fuel system so the engine was able to run from idle to 5k rpm with no issues. Took a while to troubleshoot the boat out on the water under load so I missed the return window. To light for an anchor so just wasted $30 on a new part that didn’t perform as well as the 20 year old factory part.

came with no block o ring not a deal breaker but ,,,,it also says fit a 50 mercury which it did but you got to extend fuel line to vst for it was on wrong side of housing ,which is more time involved you did not expect other than that it will work ,for how long time will tale

Not designed well.
The valves in this pump are held in by screws and a spring. Seems like a great idea but, the force of suction from the engine is almost not enough to pull the gas past the valve springs. REBUILT MY ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT PUMP AND THE ENGINE RUNS FINE. The problem I was having with this pump is that it idle fine then from 2000 rpm to about 3500 it would cut out spit and backfire and lose a lot of power. But then at full throttle it would operate just fine. Then after slow cruising the engine would run low on gas and power but would run okay at idle. The pump I rebuilt solved all these problems.
