Trailer Axle Electric Brake Kit, Pair of 8-6.5" Bolt Circle Brake Drum with 12" x 2" Electric Brakes for 5200-7000 lb Axles, Replacement 12" Brake Hub Drum Assembly

The drums, brakes, bearings and hardware came in one sturdy cardboard box that held two more boxes with right and left side packaged separately. Even though the outer box appeared a little torn, the inner boxes and contents were in perfect condition. Everything looked very good (no rust, new condition, not shop worn, etc,) and nothing was missing. The magnets came with extra long wires and the wires had a good strain relief mounted on the backing plate. I had a question about whether a race was fully seated and sent a picture of it to the vendor and they immediately got back to me and confirmed that it was correct. I also confirmed this during installation. Outside of drums and brake backing plates are well painted and look very nice. I'll see how things hold up over time, but very pleased so far

This kit has everything you need to replace your brakes.I used this kit to replace an old hydraulic system, took all the old junk off, cleaned the spindle, packed the new bearings and had everything installed in less than 2 hours.Solder your wire connections.Great product.After weeks of being on the boat trailer and countless times in and out of the water. These brakes work great. These are a must have purchase.

Met all my expectations. Easy to install even though there were no instructions, of course if you know nothing about installing things like this don’t be stupid, pay someone to install them. After all they are brakes.Be sure to burnish them, world of difference.

Easy install

bolted on perfect, bearings fit spindle, seals correct size, little bit different adjusting brakes with self adjuster arm. Haven't road tripped yet as 1st camping trip not until later this month. replaces 23 year old dexters drums and 11 year old backing plates.
