great little freezer/refrigerator
I LOVE this compact refrigerator/freezer. I have used it traveling in the car and it in my home, keeping drinks and some food in it for convenience. I have it set to 15 degrees F and it stays that way with no problem in Pacific Northwest climate year round. My food on the bottom and mid-height freezes solid at that temperature, the food at the top is sometimes partially frozen, partially thawed. It works for me, I keep premade food such as chicken and lasagna towards the top and it keeps it frozen enough that the food stays fine for a week or two that way. I love the narrow design, it fits in a small area perfectly. It does limit the size of packaging you can put in there. The streamlined design and strap make it convenient to carry from the house to your vehicle. You have to thread the strap through the provided slots on the ends of the unit. Great product so far, I've had it for about a year. The unit oscillates off and on to maintain its temperature and it seems to do so very efficiently, and doesnt seem too noisy.

Truckers and Travelers
The media could not be loaded. As a truck driver, I spend many hours on the road, and having a refrigerator has been an excellent choice. Although I’m still in the testing phase, my first impressions are very positive. What I like most is how practical it is. Its compact size fits perfectly in the truck cabin without getting in the way, yet it still has enough space to store the essentials: water, snacks, some prepared meals, and drinks. It works well with the vehicle’s power supply and keeps a consistent temperature, which I really value during long trips. In short, it’s a great tool for those of us who live on the road. I recommend it if you’re looking for a reliable and portable solution to keep your food fresh while you work.

What a wonderful fridge!
So, this was purchased for those just in case hurricanes and power outages. It also serves the purpose of a bedroom/ dorm like fridge, but with a much smaller profile. It does not make a lot of sound and it definitely cools appropriately. It is attracrive and would not take up a lot of room in a car. The solar eclipse is coming, so packing up lunch and drinks will definitely be easy with this device. I could not make up my mind between this one and the SetPower FC 15. I eventually bought both. Under the right circumstances one could serve as a freezer as the other could serve as the fridge. I do prefer the lid on the FC 15 as it is removable, and you can switch the sides it opens from. But the profile on this fridge is so easy to put in so many different places. This AB 15 also has a nice strap so it is easy to hoist it against your hip and carry it around. Even without the strap it is really light weight and easy to move around. I have been through at least three hurricanes. The entire city was out of power for upward at least a week each time. There were always spotty locations with power where you could buy food and something like this could definitely upgrade our food options during such an event. I have solar power batteries and panels that would allow this to run indefinitely as it uses so little power. The FC 15 is cheaper by almost half, however this AB 15 really accommodates space, and is much more attractive. So far I am happy and pleased with my purchase. There were things about shipping that I was not happy about, but that was the fault of Amazon and not the manufacturer .

Love it
I purchased the Setpower AB15 12 Volt Refrigerator in September of 2024 and love this thing so far. Hopefully it will last a few years. It fits between the 2nd row seats of a Telluride and it fits perfectly. There are a few things you need to be aware of, but if you keep them in mind it works great. If possible, put food/drinks in cold. It doesn't take long for the fridge to cool down, but it will take a couple hours to cool down your food/drinks. Also, don't be afraid of setting the temperature below freezing. Admittedly, I do like my drinks ice cold, but room temperature drinks after and hour with the fridge at 32 degrees aren't very cool at all. In order to get drinks really chilled I keep the temp at 24-26 degrees. There seems to be enough variance in how the often the compressor kicks on that drinks will not freeze. Even with the temp set a 26, I've seen the internal temp vary enough to sometimes be reading be in the mid to lower 30's.I'm very happy with this fridge. It can also serve as a freezer. A frozen item was placed in the fridge for a 3 1/2 hour trip with the temp set at 14 degrees(also had drinks in with it). At the end of the trip, the item remained frozen, bottles of water were frozen, but my gatorade was not frozen(but very cold).I purposely bought this fridge to keep drinks cold for road trips and it works great for that. It's probably not big enough for camping or trips longer than a couple of days. The main benefit for myself is not having to mess with buying ice or the inconvenience of dumping water and replenishing the ice.Love it!

Initially disappointing, but SetPower is working to rectify it....
UPDATE: The manufacturer has reached out to me to try and rectify the issues I'm experiencing. Will update product review further when I am able to access the unit later this Spring. But, their customer service is very good so far.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Keeps things cold well enough, but uses way too much power. The compressor is running 90% of the time and as such quickly runs down my 400 Ah battery even with adequate sun for my solar panels to charge from. It doesn't seem like it's well insulated, especially the lid. Closed, there is still a noticeable gap. It's also pretty loud. Disappointing. It's taking up space in my storage unit now.
