Pregnant with baby number two!
I am 7 months postpartum. I bout a pack of these first response early result tests when I thought I may be pregnant. Took a test, and there showed the faintest line as pictured. I have heard of indent’s recently, so I did not believe it. My easy@home tests were negative as was clearblue. I took another frer and it, again, had the faintest line. I then ordered another set of these to take the following day to confirm if the reviews I am seeing is what’s happening here as well. Nope… took 2 frer and 2 easy@home and they were both whopping positives! First response really does tell you MUCH earlier than any other brand. Very pleased, and excited to bring another gift from God, a sweet baby into our family.

Which promotion will it be...
First Response has a habit of rotating promotions.(normally one then the other then none) The main two are buy one get one free mail(mail in rebate) and getting one extra test per box. The main problem of ordering from Amazon, one is never sure which type of box will arrive. It may even be possible that different warehouses have different stock at the same time, making it difficult to gauge by review which version you might receive. I had hoped for the extra test per box(as in the two previous reviews received said versions), but ended up with the mail in rebate offer instead.Personally I would like to see larger bulk packs offered. Hopefully lowering the per unit cost dramatically. Yes you can find generic tests(wondfo for example) but it is nice to have secondary testing options to help relieve stress for those trying to conceive. One of the negatives of buying pregnancy tests(especially generics) is you never know when you might accidentally pick up a bad batch. Therefore it is normally wise to have tests from at least two sources.Wondfo testProAffordable at less than 40 cents per testKnown to normally be highly sensitive.Sold in various large bulk countsConNot a "cupless design"(basically some might prefer to use it with a cup, but works ok for most without)For various reasons some batches might be bad.Wish they were stocked by larger vendors(why offer 40 cent tests when you can sell 4 dollar+ tests)First Response Early ResultProEasy to find, available everywhere.Seems overall to be highly thought of compared to other mainstream brands."Cupless design" making it easier to use for some.Tests seems very consistent.ConExpensiveNot sold in large enough bulk packsFor many the test seems less sensitive than it should be(Difficult to decide on which side to error here)Likely bad for the environment compared to generic tests. Not knowing which promotion box you will receive.(when mail ordering)

Works well!
Hi, I got my first true positive result this AM, a faint line after 3 minutes. I already had a blood test scheduled later this AM since I am doing IVF and HCG was 21. I also did a 1$ cheapo test and the line looked like an evap line, not convincing at all. The FRER was very convincing. Incidentally, I also got a faint positive yesterday, but it took 10 min to develop and I know you are not supposed to read a test after that time. But in the past, I never got a line, even when I waited a little longer, so I was pretty optimistic for today anyways. So, this is really an excellent early result test. I am 14 dpo today which seems late, but again my HCG being low at 21, I am probably a later implanter and 21 is good sensitivity; early tests usually advertise they can detect at 20-25. I found the test easy to use.

It Works!!!
After reading that digital isn't sensitive enough and that some other brands consistently fail or give false positives. I can say 100% this is SUPER accurate. I took the test at 6 days early exactly, NOTHING - okay, I am either not pregnant or implantation hadn't happened yet. Then a few days later I began having early pregnancy symptoms and took the test again (now 4 days early) and it was clear as day pregnant, even my husband could read it. I am having some early complications and after having a positive test I was able to begin prenatal care/visits at just under 4 weeks along. I will ONLY buy this test!

seems like a pregnancy test
i am not pregnant or am i trying to be. However, because i breastfeed I don't have a period. I like to keep tests around to check every couple of months. this is helpful in avoiding the "HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW FAR YOU ARE???" question.tests seem fine. i haven't got a positive so i dont know how that works out, but it seems like the usual test. i'm sure i've used this before with one of my previous pregnancies, but am uncertain.i've never had an issue with any test regarding false +. I've always known before i tested that i was pregnant or not.

Great Value
After reading many reviews and opinions all over the internet as to what test was the most accurate this one always seemed to come up first. So naturally I am going with First Response. Also, like others have pointed out this order came with a total of 6 tests! A great deal! Will be so excited to see that double line!! :) Go with Amazons Subscribe and Save option too, to get an even better deal!

Do not buy !!!
Do NOT buy! It is terrible ! First of all no refunds or returns. I got two boxes (4test) and both boxes were smashed ! I’m not gonna blame them so whatever just give me the test. Well both set I bought are EXPIRED! One by one a whole month, almost two ! The other a week expired! Do not buy I would not recommend buying theses unless you want to waste money and time. I emailed them about it and have yet to get anything back.
