Very sharpe and accurate cutting. Good size for craft hobbyists.

These are good quality saws and very sharp. I have a number of Japanese pull saws but ordered these smaller ones as they are better for fine work on smaller pieces of wood. The double bladed version is quite rigid which I like for cross or end cuts and the other two are more flexible which makes sawing off protruding wood flush with the surface, e.g. Dowels, very effective. I’m pleased with these saws and recommend them, especially since the price is very fair.

I needed a saw for a really awkward job. Had to cut out something on a staircase in situ.Sharp and tough. Really useful. Good quality and great price.

Took a punt on these after reading the reviews and have been using them regularly ever since. I’m not sure about the longevity of the handles as they seem a little lightweight. Having said that they do fit very nicely into the hand. The blades are great. They seem tough but give you a really smooth cut. Impressed. The saws overall are easy to use, excellent value and small enough to be used anywhere on virtually anything ! Fantastic!

These Japanese/pull saws arrived quickly. Inside the box they were enclosed in a bubble wrap sleeve(nicely thought out). I have not used these yet but they feel & look well made and robust and are very comfortable to hold and are not awkward or heavy like a normal saw. I do not get on with normal saws.They are well balanced &lightweight. I took a chance on these as there were no reviews but I am glad I did. Very happy with them.UPDATE: I have used one to cut wood to repair a gate. Absolutely brilliant. I don't get on with 'normal' saws but using this type is so easy. The action feels more instinctual to cut on the 'pull' ( to me anyway), this cut through quickly and easily and with a cleaner cut as cut through without having to keep stopping (like I do with normal saws due to difficulty with them and wobbly blades) non of that with these. Now all the jobs that I put off because of not getting on with 'normal' saws can actually get done.

I wish l had discovered these Japanese saws years ago! They are much easier to handle than a full size saw and are miles better than a hacksaw.I used them to make frames for canvas pictures. The wood was so lightweight that my big saw was just tearing it apart and not giving me a nice straight, clean edge needed when framing.These little saws did an excellent job and are much easier to handle with the cut being on the pull rather than on the push. I will never go back to using a hack saw for smaller jobs again.

Bought these for a staircase project but they were smaller than I was expecting.The cutting is accurate and very clean, there are various teeth pitch which gives different options. Very easy to use.
