This works well for a garage. I use it draining into a condensate pump which allows the water collected to be sent outside. As long as all of the instructions are followed, this will work well. I had an issue and the company responded very well and resolved my issue. The unit is not heavy but if you have to drain the tank depending on how much humidity is collected, you may need to drain it once a day like I had to do before getting the condensate pump. The noise level is very low as I barely notice it's even on without any other sound. My two-car garage at about 600 square feet is usually around 65% humidity in the state of Georgia but with this, it's consistently kept at about 45% during spring and summer months. As many of you may know, 60% or higher is what mold likes. This unit is good for mold prevention. There are two different speed settings for the fan. I keep it on high because the power usage isn't bad. It's kind of like having half the power of a laptop running. I like the design of the unit but recommend a condensate pump if the water needs to flow upwards at all from where the dehumidifier is placed without tank drain. Otherwise the tank would need to be drained regularly. The value is worth it and pays for itself over time to keep mold and possibly any bugs away that like a high humidity environment. I have a second one of these in my bathroom which drains into the sink. That one helps with humidity in the bathroom as well as the bedrooms near it.

This dehumidifier works very well. We use it in a 600 sq. ft. house when we are not there and the HVAC is off, typically 2 to 4 weeks at a time. Have not had any moisture related issues since we began using it about four months ago. We use the drain hose because of the length of time the dehumidifier is running while we are gone. Happy with our purchase!

This dehumidifier works great and is small enough to be out of the way. Easy to use and setup done out of the box.

Overall, this humidifier works well. My four stars is because of design. It would be nice if there was a pour spout when emptying it. The water goes everywhere so you have to be careful when pouring it out. The second is when the container is full, water sloshes out everywhere when you are carrying it. Doesnt matter how careful i try to be, water is going to spill out. The water level when it is full has zero allowance and spills everywhere which is annoying.

This little dehumidifier is amazing, it is working well keeping my basement nice and dry and at much more comfortable humidity level, I love the fact that it came with an external hose for drainage and it was a great value for the money.

This is a great size so it takes up a little space. It works as well as larger ones we have used and is very quiet! I like that you can set it for a certain humidity level and it works well to keep it there.The wheels make it easy to move around but it is light enough to lift and move as well.Customer service was quick to reply when I activated the warranty.Well worth the money!

Amazing Dehumidifier, but not for 1500 square feet. This is the second of these dehumidifiers I have bought. The first was for my bathroom and it works SO well. So, I bought a second for my living room which has some humidity problems. Now, my total house is 1600 square feet and I keep the bathroom and bedroom doors closed, so there’s no reason a dehumidifier claiming to work on 1500 square feet shouldn’t work on a less than 1000 square foot living room? But it doesn’t. It can’t get it below 75% humidity which is not at all what I was hoping considering it regularly maintains 40% in my bathroom. I guess just be mindful that this is only going to work in a small, confined space.
