This is not my first foray with Smooth Appeal I have previously purchased their products. I first came across this type of peelable wax in Canada 30 years ago. Ever since, i've loved the simple concept of peeling the wax away with your fingers quickly and cleanly.This duo set works in an identical way. You get a neat little 'saucepan' with two blocks of wax within. Simply place the pan on the hob on a low heat and remove when half-melted. It will continue to melt as you remove it from the heat. Mix the wax using the included wax stick. Apply a small dot to the back of your hand to check temperature when you think its not scalding!Once ready apply a thin layer on your preferred area. Apply a second thing cot over the first. Give it a minute and then strip.Voila!Repeat is necessary for a smoother finish.The wax melts swiftly and also cools swiftly, making the working time nice and. quick, you don't need to waste time waiting for it to dry and nor do you need to trouble yourself with cotton wax strips.Nice and simple and fast results and plenty of wax left for next time.5 stars

These are like mini saucepans with wax. They are very small - I have gas hob and there was no way to heat them on there without an adapter - fortunately I had one for a stove top coffee maker. So check you can heat this without having to buy something else.Each pot will do small areas and I do keep and re-use. But I still find this expensive for this amount of wax.It is good quality wax and does a better job than strip wax. Also much more accurate than strip wax which always gets stuck to the wrong place and is the wrong shape and size. With this you just put it where you want it and no hassle.So big plus for convenience.For delicate facial skin, do hold skin tight before pulling off.Hope that helps!
