Simply love it

I tried a famous rival brand which didn’t work very well and then stopped working altogether after only one try. I read the reviews and decided to order this Drinkmate. It out performed the other one by miles - the colour is beautiful, the actual product well made and solid. The bottle secures to the machine by way of a special top - no leaks or spray. The carbonation is brilliant- I use water from a filter jug and it tastes so much better than shop bought carbonated water- I’m easily drinking my daily 2 liters. We use it several times a day - Definitely recommend this.

I replaced a broken SS. I like that you can fizz anything or re-fizz flat drinks. Not sure about the price though. Pretty thin plastic_time will tell but, so far so good.

I create my own homebrew wine and with this machine I can convert my homebrew to Sparkling wine with 3-4 squirts. The bottle is around the same size as a bottle of wine which is fantastic. Works great for carbonating Cider and Lager as well.

I’ve had the Drinkmate for a few days and so far have carbonated: Water, apple juice and .. whisky!The bubbles are small, more of a San pelligrino bubble than an ‘in your face’ Coca Cola bubble but that suits me. It doesn’t come with a CO2 cartridge but if you live near an Argos you can easily purchase from there. I did find the CO2 cartridge unscrewed slightly after a few days but it maybe I didn’t tighten properly first time. I was impressed with the safety gas release - so much better than the old soda stream days where you lived in fear of over gassing the bottle. It’s a pity you can’t currently order the smaller bottles on amazon, however the UK Drinkmate site claims to be restocking soon.

I absolutely love this product. I have had it for nearly 2 years now, have used it 2-3 times a day since purchased, and I have had no issues with it at all. It is very simple to to use, easy to swap out cylinders, easy to clean and looks great. Massive reduction on plastic bottle use in our house! One minor point is that it's difficult to get additional 1l bottles, but not enough of a concern to reduce from 5 stars. Availability of sodastream cannisters over the last few months has been an issue (presumably due to the global crisis) but that's no fault of the product.

Looks good and seems to work but it doesn't make water fizzy! It tastes flat even straight after fizzing it! So expensive and totally not worth it.

Very happy with this, got one in black and also in the metallic red finish. Like most things these days the plastic feels a bit thin, but no concerns over build quality. The fact we can buzz apple juice and so on makes it much better than a Soda Stream, which is water only. The soda stream gas canister we picked up from Argos and connects just fine. Carbonating takes a bit of experimenting to get it right, but lots of fun for the family. Connecting the clear bottle and removing it couldn’t be simpler. A quick 1/4 turn and it’s locked in place. Very satisfied with this purchase.
