I got this for my dad (78) for Father’s Day. I didn’t want him climbing into the attic. This pulley works great.

This is a very high quality product but installation is best suited for an experienced DYI person. Your ceiling joists must be on 24 inch centers for this to work but that spacing is almost a universal standard in the US. Use of the provided template is a must and if you are attempting a one person install consider cutting the template in half and temporarily nailing it to the ceiling to make it easier to tape it into final position. Just be sure to carefully mark the template before cutting it so that you can accurately line up the two halves when putting them on the ceiling. The system raises and lowers smoothly with the provided hand crank but using an electric drill is much easier. Definitely recommend this product.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!! Very poor design and cannot be adjusted. Platform is very unlevel and new cables have to be purchased and installed for level operation. I'd return it, but its a major installation & new cables for leveling is easier.

Glad I am the first one to review it. Tooke me 2.5 hours install it. And overall I am quite happy with it.Pros:1. The materials are pretty solid. Unlike one I bought few years ago. The metal are thick and cable are sturdy.2. Packaging is neat. Lots of little details you can tell it is a thoughtful product. And the installation template is helpful.3. Easy to install. Took me 2.5hours. If you get someone to help should be quicker.ConsThe manual could need some improvements.

The media could not be loaded. Overall, the adjustable racks are what we wanted. However, the wired cables were different lengths. We could not find any way to adjust the rack, so we had to buy additional hardware to leveled out the rack. There is at least 3-4” difference from one side to the other side.

Although this product did not work in my 7 yr old garage, customer service was EXCELLENT!! They responded within hours of each text & supplied a pre-paid RedEc label for return. My money was completely refunded the moment my shipment was scanned at FedEx!!!!!

These shelves feel secure, assemble perfectly and are sturdy enough to store a lot of items, well constructed, they can be mounted at a variety of heights, great storage shelves for a garage that needs to be organized!
