I bought this as an attempt to improve my back health as I suffer MAJOR back issues. So, this is to be an aide to my variable height desk to get me off my butt (sitting in a chair all day) 15 -20 minutes of every hour.To find a Standing Desk Stool that would actually support me (295lbs) is quite difficult, but I found this one.Others leaving negative reviews are all almost complaining of the same issue "it is not comfortable" which was WHY I bought this unit, IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE COMFORMTABLE, it is designed to make you actual MOVE as you are using it and that it does very well.Pro's - Stability, absolutely NO issues, I have never even been close to falling off this thing.Strength - 100%, I am 295lbs and it fully supports my weight.It is VERY easy to pull out, "stand sit" for 15 - 20 minutes every hour, collapse it back again and store under the desk ready for the next hour.And I have noticed a huge reduction in my pain levels since I have been using this.Cons - I really cannot think of any.Get this, you will not regret it.

Fantastic seat for a sit/stand desk - provides just enough support but doesn't allow me to slouch and continue my bad posture. Keeps me in a somehwat "active" seating position. Very sturdy, doesn't slip or slide out from underneath me and has a very small footprint (I have a small desk set up at home and this slides under and out of the way). Highly recommend,

I bought this product because I have D.I.S.H. and it was recommended that I should be using a standing desk at my day job instead of sitting for long hours at a computer. The product was easy to assemble it only had a few pieces in the box, it was so easy I didn't really need instructions though it came with them. It seems to be pretty good quality material all around and looks like it should have a long life cycle. As someone who is 6'1" the size of the stool in terms of height was a concern — it's perfect. At its full extended height I can lean on it like a perch style stool and lowered it's the right height to sit properly as a stool. The product is comfortable for the most part to sit on. The bases slip resistance is pretty good - I did end up using a floor standing mat beneath it which adds both comfort for my feet but also something to grip on rather than the very low kitchen like carpet in my work space. It looks like a professional quality stool. The only complaint I have is the seat is 1-2" smaller than I would prefer in width. I'm a big and tall guy not just tall and my rear end hangs off the edges a bit. That said I wasn't able to find any competitor offering a product like this, with a larger seat. It makes me wonder how well someone might do offering a line of wobble stools where you can customize the actual seat that is offered. Rather than the one size fits all solutions they offer now.

The media could not be loaded. We have homeschooled for a few years and we tried using old elementary school chairs for my little ones at their child sized table, but we’ve found they are uncomfortable and encouraged slouching for all of us. So I went in the hunt for alternative seating that would be comfortable, encourage better posture, and would allow for wiggles and natural movement while focusing. This stool checked all my boxes. The lowest seat position is great for young elementary aged kids, they’re very sturdy, and the cushion is thick and round at the edges. We bought one for me to test out and my kids loved it so much we bought 2 more. These work at our child height table and will grow with them as we change our workspaces over.My only heads up would be, make sure to take the RED plastic cap off of the top of the hydronic lift pole before you put the seat on. 😅 instructions said it was a black cap on I got confused the first time. It took a minute to figure out why the seat wouldn’t lift.

Unfortunately *very* strongly regret buying this chair. The height does not adjust as shown in the illustration and also the balancing apparatus is miscalibrated to favor one side (my boyfriend tried using it also and agreed) which absolutely defeats the purpose of being good for my alignment i.e. the reason for which I purchased it.

Item works as expected. However, the instructions don't match the product. The instructions refer to removal of a black plastic cap, when the cap is red. A small thing, but turned into a 20 minute frustration. A simple change to the instructions was all that was necessary. Also, the chair will not lower unless you are sitting on it - an item also not in the instructions.
