Good Value
My grandson wanted a special rainbow for Christmas. He has Adhd and this took a while to work out what he meant. His face on Christmas day meant we had made the right choice he was so happy

Fun toy for a while for younger kids
Comes in a retail box with remote control and instructions. While this toy is fun for younger children for a while and it works well enough for the price point its in it does give off cheap vibes so to speak as its functions are pretty basic. You need to use 3 AAA batteries for the robot and 2 AAA for the remote so rechargeable batteries are advisable here as running this with non rechargeable batteries is going to be quite expensive at least for the robot side due to the movement. The main face is just a sticker and is just illuminated with led's and while thats to be expected at this price point the product images and description do give the impression thats its more "advanced" saying its an led face but alas thats not the case. The price at the time of ordering was £19.99 which is fine but you get what you pay for here.

Great robot toy
My six year old grandson loves this. He soon worked out how to operate it.Some plastic parts seem a little flimsy but on the whole good quality.

Quite fun for the kids, requires 5xAAA batteries!
The media could not be loaded. This sounded interesting when I ordered this, but unfortunately it's not something my 7 year old son is too interested in, it seems suited for younger ages.In the box, you get the robot and a remote control. The remote requires 2xAA batteries, whilst the robot requires 3xAA batteries, all of which you need to supply yourself. The robot is easy to operate, just hold walk on the remote and it will shuffle it's 6 legs and move in the direction it is facing. Press another key to rotate it 45 degrees, and again, press forward to walk it in that direction. Below these two buttons is a Dance button which causes the robot to play an electronic song and sort-of dance to it.Below those three buttons are the programmable buttons - upon pressing the top "P" button, you can start inputting up to 15 combinations (ie forward, forward, turn, forward, dance, turn, turn, turn, forward, forward etc), and then hit the lower "P" button to play back the recorded combinations. It does introduce some very basic level of programming, I do recall doing something similar at primary school with the "turtle" robot that draws lines on the floor after typing in "forward 10".The "face" of the robot is basically an overlayed sticker, with the lights shining on it to give the effect that you're looking at a screen, rather than a basic matrix of LED lights. It would suit 4-6 year olds, quite a fun gadget.

Fun interactive toy!
Bought this for my son’s 6th birthday and him and his brothers (2 & 7) love it! It’s easy to use and I like that it has customisable settings so they can play around with it for ages. I’ve seen more expensive versions so it’s definitely great value for money.
