Luckily I'd tried another brand before this one otherwise this would have put me off shilajit for good. My own fault for assuming they were all the same so went looking for a cheaper option. Buy cheap buy twice is never truer than with this product.

Mixed feelings overall. The packaging’s nice, and the little gold spoon is a neat touch. The resin itself is darker than I expected but way thinner than what I’ve seen before, almost syrupy instead of tar-like. Not sure if that’s just a batch thing or what, but it didn’t feel quite right. Smell and taste are manageable though. I used it in warm water first few mornings and did feel a slight bump in energy, though it’s subtle and hard to say for sure.Honestly, the texture kind of threw me off. For something priced and marketed as premium, I was expecting more from the product feel. Not saying it’s fake, but I’ve tried others that felt more... grounded? Still, if you’re curious and okay with a bit of a mess, it might be worth a try. Just not entirely sold myself.

The packaging on this product is beautiful, the attention to detail is next level. The consistency of the Shilajit is perfect, already I can see this is the real deal from the texture, smell and taste, unlike others I have unfortunately purchased in the past, so I am very happy.I am going to take this Shilajit for a week and come back with my updated findings, I’m excited to get started! But for me 5 stars, and important to add that the customer service is outstanding.

I was very happy to try Shilajit, courtesy of Amazon Vine.If it can boost my energy levels and help my aching joints, then I will be delighted.Eager to try it for the first time, I first read the instructions - or rather squinted at them, as they are printed in a minuscule and unreadable font. After photographing it and zooming in, I could read how to use this product and proceeded to opening it. It's a viscous sticky product with a thick molasses like consistency and the paper seal across the top of the opened jar was nigh-on impossible to peel off. I'm left now with little bits of the paper seal stuck in the resin. Still, I dipped in the little golden spoon and added a tiny dollop to some green tea. The resin has no real smell and seems to dissolve quite well, but does add a bitter taste to your hot drink.They recommend you use it 4-6 times per week.Far too early to comment on any positive effects, so it's a neutral rating for now.Will report back in a week or so.**** UPDATE ****Having taken this product for 10 days, I think it's fair to say that I do notice a slight buzz and energy boost, which I don't believe is down to the placebo effect. I've even just about got used to the bitter taste in my green tea. So, I've bumped my rating up to 4 stars to reflect the positive effects. Still wish it wasn't so sticky and yucky to use though!

I don’t tell people what supplements can or can’t do regardless of the product description, it’s entirely up to you to do your homework but I will advise that you take anything you’re putting in your mouth very seriously.This particular supplement isn’t your garden variety capsule or tablet you can pick up at the supermarket. It comes in box, inside a sealed jar with a safety seal so you know it hasn’t been messed with. Which is just as well because it’s super gooey. This is a tar like resin that’s jet black & you could be mistaken for thinking this just got scraped off the tarmac except it doesn’t smell of anything.You get a tiny gold spoon to gather up just as much goo as you need & then wash, dry your spoon for next time, which is handy because it would otherwise be very hard to judge how much of this to take.The mode of delivery is unique to say the least & as close to the real thing as you can get out of a rock.The product description has a long list of the purposes for taking this, all the claims, all the ailments it’s meant to aid. I really can’t vouch for it having an immediate effect & there’s not a massive amount of research apart from it’s main component which is fulvic acid. You may be slightly horrified to know that fulvic acid is derived from decomposition of organic matter including sewage (!) although obviously that’s not what’s in this supplement. Everything associated with the benefits is predicated on the word “may” so be aware of that.In my opinion if you want the benefit of the primary ingredient in this supplement it’s far easier to take it in capsule form. I’ll possibly persevere with this tub of tar but it’s messy & I’m lazy so it’s not looking good.

What an amazing product this is, I was a little bit skeptical at first when buying something like this but how I was wrong.The earthy taste is so natural and tasty, since taking this I have felt 100x better. For what it is the price is absolutely reasonable, even comes with your own spoon which is a nice touch.Highly recommend this product👍
