It’s Excellent and everything I expected it to be from a Top Quality Artist so much to learn, I’m not a person who likes to read , until now, so interesting and I can’t put the book down, full of beautiful artwork, the best book ever , Thankyou Paul Kinsley

Reading this was like taking a master course in art. I feel like I have profitied from the wisdom of a wise instructor - and the best - in written form, I can go back for reference or research something I'm having a problem with. I only wish I'd bought it years ago!!

What a fantastic book! Much cheaper to buy directly from Richard Schmidt's website - I don't understand why it costs such a fortune through Amazon. This text is in line with the great painting manuals written by academically trained artists like Harold Speed, Solomon J. Solomon, John Carlson, Richard Whitney, Francis Hopkinson Smith, Daniel Burleigh Parkhurst or John Collier.
